Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the mis-alignment of a photosensitive resin plate by constituting the above device in such a manner that moving brushes are moved back and forth and are integrally moved forward and backward within the same plane in the direction orthogonal with a reciprocative moving direction. CONSTITUTION:Crank arms 15a, 15b of the adjacent moving brushes 13a, 13b are so disposed as to deviate 180 deg. and a chain 16 is so extended that the shafts 14a, 15b revolve in respectively opposite directions. Namely, the revolving shaft 14a and the crank arm 15a revolve in an arrow X direction and the revolving shaft 14b and the crank arm 15b revolve in a Y direction opposite X direction when the chain 16 is moved in an arrow K direction. Consequently, the moving brush 13a eventually moves in the arrow X-X2 direction and the moving brushes 13b in the arrow Y1-Y2 direction in the direction intersecting with the transporting direction S of the photosensitive resin 1. The adjacent moving brushes 13a, 13b move in the directions opposite from each other in such a manner that the side parts thereof slide against each other.

In the production of the above-mentioned photosensitive resin plate, a so-called developing step of removing the resin material in the unexposed portion after exposing the printing pattern is essential, followed by a purifying step,
The drying step and the post-exposure step are sequentially performed. The following methods (a) to (c) are typical methods employed in the developing step. (A) A method in which compressed air is blown onto the photosensitive resin plate and the unexposed portion is blown off to form a convex portion. (B) A method in which a developing solution (hereinafter also referred to as a washout solution) is jetted toward the photosensitive resin plate at a constant pressure, and the unexposed portion is blown off or washed away. (C) A method of removing the unexposed portion by spraying a developing solution or immersing the photosensitive resin plate in the developing solution and rubbing a brush or the like on the plate surface of the photosensitive resin plate.

It is expected that the method (c) has the highest effect of removing the unexposed portion, and for example, JP-A-62-217249 is known. This technology uses multiple rotating brushes to move the rotating brush group together in a reciprocating direction in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the photosensitive resin plate is conveyed. The unexposed portion is stripped off while preventing deviation of the resin plate (changing the orientation of the photosensitive resin plate).

By the way, in the technique of the above publication, since the brushes are rotated in opposite directions, it is possible to prevent the deviation of the photosensitive resin plate when the brushes are rotated in the same direction. Since the rotating brush group is configured to reciprocate together, there is a problem in that a positional deviation (a phenomenon in which the plate itself shifts in a direction intersecting the transport direction of the photosensitive resin plate) occurs. This problem was particularly remarkable in a system in which only the front part of the plate is fixed and the plate is conveyed so as to be dragged. ..

Even when a plurality of rotating brushes are arranged adjacent to each other, a planar gap causes a gap between the circular rotation loci of the rotating brushes. Has a problem that it is not uniformly applied to the printing plate. This problem was particularly noticeable when the photosensitive resin plate was fixed in a fixed position for development processing.

On the other hand, in order to completely remove the unexposed portion around the exposed portion of the fixed photosensitive resin plate, the bristles of the brush should be entirely covered with respect to the periphery of the exposed protrusion in plan view. It must act from the circumferential direction to peel off the unexposed portion. If this action is insufficient even partially, the unexposed portion will not be removed in the part around the convex portion. It remains and impairs its function as a printing plate.

The crank arms 15a and 15b of the adjacent moving brushes 13a and 13b are arranged so as to be offset by 180 degrees, and the chain 16 is stretched so that the shafts 14a and 14b rotate in opposite directions. To be done. That is, when the chain 16 is moved in the arrow K direction in FIG. 3, the rotary shaft 14a and the crank arm 15a rotate in the arrow X direction, and the rotary shaft 14b and the crank arm 15b rotate in the Y direction opposite to the X direction. It is found, in the direction crossing the conveying direction S of the photosensitive resin plate 1, the mobile brush 13a along with moves in the arrow X 1 -X 2 direction, moving the brush 13b is moving in the arrow Y 1 -Y 2 direction Then, the moving brushes 13a and 13b adjacent to each other move in the directions opposite to each other so as to rub (side portions). Therefore, the photosensitive resin plate 1, which is conveyed so as to be in contact with the lower side of the moving brush group 13, will not be displaced in a direction intersecting the conveying direction. This is because in the above-mentioned crossing direction, the adjacent moving brushes try to pull the plates in the opposite directions and these forces cancel each other out so that the plates are not displaced.

On the other hand, since the moving brushes 13a and 13b rotate by themselves, the moving component parallel to the conveying direction S of the photosensitive resin plate 1 reciprocates in the Z 1 -Z 2 direction.
In the reciprocating movement in this direction, all the moving brushes 13a,
13b ... move in a lump, so adjacent moving brushes 13
There is no possibility that the a and 13b collide with each other to stop the movement or that the moving brushes 13a and 13b are largely separated from each other.

As described above, since the moving brushes 13a and 13b carry out the horizontal reciprocal movement component both in the direction parallel to the conveying direction of the plate 1 and the reciprocating movement component in the intersecting direction,
In the plate 1, the resin material in the unexposed portion around the exposed convex portion is reliably removed by the brush bristles.

Further, since the moving brushes 13a and 13b adjacent to each other in the moving brush group 13 can be arranged side by side without a gap and the brush bristles can be densely provided, even if the plate 1 is fixed at a fixed position, the plate surface is fixed. It can be rubbed uniformly against the surface, and the unexposed area can be removed without damaging it, and uneven development does not occur.

It is preferable that the rotational movement directions of the moving brushes 13a and 13b are reversed at a constant cycle, which can further reduce the possibility that the unexposed portion remains around the exposure convex portion.

The number of revolutions of the moving brushes 13a and 13b, the eccentric length of the crank arms 15a and 15b, and the reversal period of the rotation direction can be arbitrarily selected according to the type and size of the photosensitive resin plate 1. Preferably, the rotating speed of the moving brush is 30 to 90 rpm, the eccentric length is 20 to 50 mm, and the reversing period is 0.
It is recommended to set within 5 to 3 minutes. On the other hand, the shape of the moving brushes 13a, 13b is not limited to a rectangular shape, but may be a polygonal shape or the like, and the number of arrangements is an odd number of 3 to 9 so that the bridging condition of the chain 16 is satisfied as described above and the movement is reversed. By making the total areas of the moving brushes 13a and 13b equal to each other, the displacement of the plate 1 in the intersecting direction is completely prevented.

FIG. 4 is a partially cutaway side view of FIG.
The liquid surface 3A of the washing liquid is at least the moving brushes 13a, 13
It is desirable to set it higher than the b-brush arrangement position of b ..., and this can prevent the surfactant and the like contained in the washout liquid 3 from foaming. Further, it is preferable to form a plurality of through holes 130 in each of the moving brushes 13a and 13b, so that a new washing liquid 12 can be obtained.
Is easily supplied to the plate surface and also acts as an air vent hole to prevent air from remaining between the bristles and causing foaming. Reference numeral 11B in FIG. 4 indicates an adjuster for raising and lowering the bottom surface 11A of the tank, and the adjusters provided at the four corners allow the bottom surface 11A of the tank to be adjusted up and down according to the thickness of the plate.

Embodiment 1 Five moving brushes 13a, 13b (both 13a and 13b have a size of 710 × 112 mm) shown in FIG. 2 are arranged at an interval of 5 mm, the rotating speed of the moving brushes 13a, 13b is 60 rpm, and a crank is used. Arm 15
The eccentric length of a and 15b was 35 mm, and the reversal period of the above rotation was 1 minute. When a 610 x 460 mm photosensitive resin plate (Cosmolite manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd.) was conveyed at a low speed of 1.5 mm / min in the direction of the white arrow S, the photosensitive resin plate 1 meandered. In addition, it was possible to completely remove the resin material in the unexposed portion without remaining, and it was possible to form a beautiful printing plate without redeposition of the resin material on the plate surface.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION Since the present invention is constructed as described above, the photosensitive resin plate is securely and uniformly brought into contact with the plate surface by brush bristles without causing displacement or meandering due to the movement of the brush, and unexposed. It has become possible to uniformly remove the resin material in the portion. Further, the cured portion (convex portion) exposed on the plate surface can be rubbed with the brush bristles over the entire circumference thereof, and even in microscopic view, the unexposed portion does not remain around the convex portion.
