2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 5 is a side view showing a configuration example of a conventional disconnector. Terminals 3 and 4 are attached to the common base 1 via an insulator 2. The contact 5 comes into contact with the terminals 3 and 4, and the terminals 3 and 4 are energized via the contact 5. The contactor 5 contacts and separates from the terminal portion 4 by rotating in the direction of arrow A with the hinge mechanism 6 of the terminal portion 3 as a fulcrum. The rotation of the contact 5 is performed via the lever 7 by the force of a driving device (not shown).

However, the conventional device as described above has a problem that the contact portion between the contact and the terminal portion is welded when a large current flows through the contact. That is, when a large current such as a short-circuit current flows in the contactor, an electromagnetic force is generated by the current shunting the two parallel conductors. This force acts in the direction in which the two parallel conductors attract each other. Generally, the electromagnetic force is maximized in the central portion of the contact in the longitudinal direction. The gap member between the parallel conductors is interposed near the longitudinal ends of the parallel conductors in order to apply a contact pressure to the terminals. Therefore, in the conventional device, a mere gap is provided near the center of the parallel conductor in the longitudinal direction. When a large electromagnetic force is applied, the central portions of the parallel conductors in the longitudinal direction are extremely close to each other, which causes the parallel conductors to warp. By this transformation,
Contact failure occurred between the parallel conductor and the terminal portion, and the contact portion was welded.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, first and second terminal portions and two parallel conductors, which are attached to a common base via insulators, respectively. And both ends of the contact element are in contact with the first and second terminal portions, and the parallel conductor of the contact element sandwiches the first and second terminal portions to energize between the terminal portions. In the one which comes into contact with and separates from the second terminal portion by rotating with the hinge mechanism arranged at one terminal portion as a fulcrum, an interposition between two parallel conductors is provided at the center portion in the longitudinal direction of the contact. It shall be equipped with a metal fitting.

EXAMPLES The present invention will be described below based on examples.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of essential parts showing the configuration of a disconnector according to an embodiment of the present invention. A gap metal fitting 14 having a width slightly smaller than the thickness d of the terminals 3 and 4 is interposed between the two parallel conductors 8 near the center of the contact in the longitudinal direction. Another pipe-shaped gap member 90 is arranged on the pin 15 which penetrates the parallel conductor 8 and is fastened at both ends by split pins, and the gap metal fitting 14 is welded to both of the gap members 9 and 90. Since other configurations are the same as those of the conventional apparatus of FIG. 7, the same reference numerals are used for the same portions, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line DD of FIG. The gap fitting 14 is formed by bending a metal plate into a Z shape and is welded to the gap members 9 and 90 through which the pins 10 and 15 penetrate. Since the gap metal fitting 14 is arranged over the central portion of the parallel conductor 8, the gap metal fitting 14 receives the parallel conductor 8 even if a large current flows through the parallel conductor 8, and the parallel conductor 8 is not deformed.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of essential parts showing the structure of a disconnector according to another embodiment of the present invention. A gap metal fitting 16 having a width slightly smaller than the thickness d of the terminals 3 and 4 is interposed between the two parallel conductors 8 near the central portion in the longitudinal direction of the contactor. Both ends of this gap fitting 16 are bent in a U shape and the pin 1
It wraps around 0 and 15. The other structure is the same as that of FIG.

FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along the line EE in FIG. 3, in which the gap metal member 16 is formed by bending the metal plate on both sides so as to wrap the pins 10 and 15 in a U-shape. Compared with the gap metal fitting 14 in FIG. 2, there is no welding work, and since it can be manufactured by integrally bending a metal plate, the cost of parts can be reduced.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the gap metal member is interposed between the parallel conductors in the central portion of the contact, the contact is prevented from being deformed even when a large current such as a short circuit current flows. This has the advantage that the short-circuit capacity of the disconnector can be easily increased.
