[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention is a method for weighing objects to be weighed such as confectionery, fruits, vegetables, etc., which have individual weights that vary, and achieving a desired weight. The present invention relates to a combination selection device for a combination weighing machine used to find the optimal combination of objects and ultimately pack a plurality of objects into bags.

<Prior art and issues to be solved> Even if you try to group together objects to be weighed whose individual weights vary by the set weight, the individual weights will vary, and as a result, the cumulative value will also vary, making it difficult to match the set weight. An error occurs between the two. For this reason, a combination weighing machine has conventionally been used to always reduce the error from the set weight as much as possible and group the weights together.

That is , in the combination weighing machine, as shown in FIG .
1 to 2 o , respectively, weigh the stored objects to be weighed, and input the measured values of each weighing instrument 2 1 to 2 o to the calculator 3 to calculate the combined weight for every combination. The combination of weighing hoppers that has the smallest difference from the set weight among all the combination weights obtained by is selected. Then, the objects to be weighed in the plurality of weighing hoppers in the combination selected in this way are discharged to a collection chute or the like and are grouped together.

However, in conventional combination weighing machines of this type, all combinations of each weighing value are performed sequentially by a computing unit, so when there are many weighing hoppers, the number of combinations is extremely large and the calculation time becomes long. There were flaws.

As a technique for solving this problem, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-92914 discloses a technique that changes from (1, 0, 0, ..., 0) to (0) by counting strobe signals synchronized with a clock signal. 1, 1, 1,...
..., a 12-bit combination pattern signal incremented by 1 in binary numbers up to 1) is output in order from the combination pattern generation section, and the number of 1s (H level) included in this combination pattern signal reaches the predetermined upper and lower limits. It is determined whether or not the values are between the values, and only the combination calculation of the measured values corresponding to the combination pattern signals determined to be within this range is performed to select a combination with the number of hoppers within a predetermined range. The technique is shown.

According to this technology, among the objects to be weighed stored in the 12 hoppers, only the combination calculation of the objects to be weighed in the hoppers within the range of the upper and lower limits is performed, so all of the 12 hoppers are Combinations can be selected in a shorter time than calculating combinations of .

However, all the combination pattern signals obtained by counting the strobe signals synchronized with the clock signal are sequentially output from the combination pattern generator, and the combination calculation is performed after determining the number of 1's in the combination pattern. In this method, the delay time necessary for the determination is required each time, so even if unnecessary combinations occur many times in a row within one clock, it is necessary to increase the clock cycle in order to complete one combination operation within that clock. This has to be set to be extremely long compared to the time required for combination calculations, and there is a problem in that the effect of limiting the number of hoppers to be combined is halved.

In addition, this publication describes a procedure for processing the above operations with a computer, but in this procedure as well, one combination pattern is output, the pattern is judged, and then the combination calculation is performed. As a result, time equal to the total number of combined patterns multiplied by the determination time is wasted.

Furthermore, the combination pattern signal generated by such counting has the inconvenience that it is not possible to easily impose restrictions on the combination pattern itself, such as allowing a predetermined hopper to participate in the combination preferentially. .

In the figure, reference numeral 4 denotes a weighing value storage circuit, which stores weighing value signals G from each weighing device 2 1 to 2 o for measuring the weight of the object to be weighed in each of the N weighing hoppers 1 1 to 1 o . 1 ~
It is provided with N storage elements 4 1 to 4 o for temporarily storing G o respectively. 5 is an address counter that sequentially generates address values consisting of binary numbers. 6a, 6b, and 6c are pre-stored desired combination patterns of different weighing hoppers that do not overlap with each other, corresponding to the addresses, and are stored in the address counter 5.
The combination pattern generator has a memory structure and outputs an N-bit combination pattern signal representing a different combination pattern corresponding to the address each time it receives an address signal from the address.

When the address counter 5 finishes counting from address 1 to address K/3, the general calculator 10 compares the three combination weights stored in the calculators 9a, 9b, and 9c, and compares the weights that are closest to the target weight. Output the combination pattern that becomes the combination weight. Then, the weighing hoppers corresponding to this combination pattern are opened and closed to collect them all at once.

In this embodiment, the same number of desired combination patterns are stored in the three combination pattern generators, and by specifying addresses to these combination pattern generators, the combination calculation of the weighing values corresponding to the three combination patterns is performed. However, even if all desired combination patterns are stored in one combination pattern generator, the combination pattern signal read from the combination pattern generator There is no change in the time-saving effect of using the selected measured values for the combination calculation immediately without performing pattern determination or the like.

Therefore, as in the above embodiment, among all the combinations of N weight values, there are n combinations, n-1 combinations, and only 2 combinations that have a low probability of obtaining a combination close to the target weight. When a combination excluding only one combination is set as a desired combination, the selection of one combination is reliably completed in a short time corresponding to the number of unnecessary combination patterns not included in the desired combination. do.

In addition, in the case of a type of weighing machine that discharges and stores the object to be weighed in the weighing hopper into the memory hopper, and then weighs the next object in the weighing hopper, the combination should be selected from both the weighing hopper and the memory hopper. <Effects of the present invention> As explained above, in the combination selection device for a combination weighing machine of the present invention, the combination pattern generator is
A combination pattern generator is configured by a memory that stores in advance a plurality of combination patterns corresponding to a plurality of desired combinations of all the combinations of hoppers for each different address, and the combination pattern generator sequentially outputs different addresses from the addressing means. Since only the desired combination pattern signals are read out sequentially and the combination calculations of the selected weighing values are performed using these combination pattern signals, patterns similar to the method of generating a combination pattern in a counting formula Judgment is no longer necessary, and combinations can be selected extremely quickly.

In addition, in the combination pattern generator of the memory configuration,
If you memorize not only the number of hoppers to be combined, but also a combination pattern such as preferentially allowing a predetermined hopper to participate in the combination, as a desired combination pattern, you can easily create that combination pattern by specifying an address. There is also the convenience of being able to use it.

[Scope of Claims] 1. A combination pattern generator that outputs an N-bit combination pattern signal, each bit corresponding to each of the N hoppers; and a weight value of the object to be weighed stored in the N hoppers. Among them, a measurement value selection means for selecting and outputting a measurement value corresponding to the combination pattern signal outputted from the combination pattern generator, and performing a combination calculation of the measurement values selected by the measurement value selection means. A computing unit and the combination pattern generator sequentially output different combination pattern signals, and among the output combination pattern signals, a combination pattern signal for which the calculation result of the computing unit is close to a predetermined target weight is determined, and the combination is determined. In the combination selection device for a combination weighing machine, the combination pattern generator selects a desired plurality of combinations of the N hoppers from among all the combinations of the N hoppers. The selection means comprises a memory in which a plurality of different combination patterns corresponding to the combinations are stored in advance for each different address, and the selection means includes an address designation means for the combination pattern generator, and the selection means selects the measured value from the combination pattern generator. A combination selection device for a combination weighing machine, characterized in that the addressing means sequentially outputs addresses for causing the combination pattern signal outputted to the means to sequentially change within the range of the desired combination pattern signal.
