【発明の詳細な説明】
【 産業上の利用分野 】本発明は自動変速装置を組み
込んだ自動車において、機械的仕組みを用いて、アクセ
ルペダルとブレーキペダルを踏み誤らないようにしたも
のである。
【 従来の技術 】自動変速装置の利点を殺すことにも
なるため、アクセルペダルを踏み込めなくする仕組みは
考えられず、実施されなかった。
【 発明が解決しようとする課題 】自動変速装置を組
み込んだ自動車を運転する者がブレーキペダルとアクセ
ルペダルとを踏み誤り、車を暴走させる例は跡をたたな
い。これは運転未熟者だけでなく、熟練者においても起
こっている。またこれは車の始動時に起こる現象で走行
中はペダルの位置の碓認が足を通じてなされているから
起こらない。始動時にペダルの確認を足でできるように
した。
【 課題を解決するための手段 】始動時、ブレーキペ
ダルと間違えてアクセルペダルを踏み込んだ時、アクセ
ルペダルが動かないと良い。そして一度確認できた後、
又ははじめから意識してアクセルペダルの上でその固定
を解錠した場合は本来のアクセルの機能が発揮でき運転
を離れ再度始動させると、上記同様にアクセルにロック
がかかっていると良い。運転者が運転を離れる時にサイ
ドブレーキを引くので、そのサイドブレーキを利用して
同時にアクセルもロックできるようにした。
【 作用 】従来のしくみを変えることなく、簡単な新
な装置を付属するだけで、踏み誤りを防止できる。
【 実施例 】この仕組みを図1で具体的に説明する
と、始動時踏み誤りを防止するためにアクセルペダル3
か、またはそれと接続されたアクセルロッド2の動きを
止める必要がある。その動きに対しつっかえ棒になるス
トッパロッド1を用意しペダルの動きを止める。だがこ
れでは車は動かない。支え13、ねじりバネ止めフック
16、ねじりバネ5等で構成されたロック装置を解錠し
なくてはならない。解錠するにはロック解錠ペダル4を
右に押し遣って解錠し、その際スライド傾斜板17は左
に動く。この動きがねじりバネ5によって戻るのを防ぐ
ために、ナット11で固定された筒8の中にあるフック
7が圧縮コイルバネ9の力により押し出されていてスラ
イド傾斜板17がフック7を越え別のロックがかかるよ
うになっている。これで踏み誤りを防止できた後自由に
アクセルペダルを操作できる。だが運転を停止し、車を
離れた後始動させようとした時は又ペダルを踏み誤る心
配がある。そこで車を離れる時必ず為すサイドブレーキ
を引く動作を利用し、それにサイドブレーキ接続ワイヤ
10、その先にフック7を接続させておくとサイドブレ
ーキを引いた時フック7が下がりスライド傾斜板17が
可動し、アクセルはストッパロッド1によりロックがか
かるようになる。また、図2,図3はロックを解錠する
のにアクセルペダルを再度踏む方式のもである。アクセ
ルロッド2の下にストッパロッド1があり、アクセルペ
ダル3を踏んだ時、多少のペダルの踏み遊びしろで爪1
