That is, the wire portion 6 of the printing wire 5 is slidably supported by a guide pipe 7 and a wire bearing 8. A wire button 9 is fixed to one end of the wire portion 6, and a return spring 11 is elastically loaded between the wire button 9 and the spring receiver 10. An armature 12 is arranged on the side of the wire button 9 and is attracted by an iron core 14 excited by an excitation coil 13.

The inventor of the present invention has solved the problems of the prior art by defining the dimensions of the head portion and the head reinforcing portion within an optimal range. That is, the present invention provides a printing wire for a dot printer in which a head reinforcing part and a head part are integrally formed at one end of the wire part using the same material, and the head part has a diameter D1 of 1.5 to 2.3 of the diameter D2 of the wire part. times its thickness
T 1 is 0.2 to 0.5 times the diameter D 2 of the wire section, and the diameter D 3 of the head reinforcement section is at least 1.2 times the diameter D 2 of the wire section and no more than 0.8 times the diameter D 1 of the head section, and its thickness By setting the diameter T 2 to 0.2 to 0.8 times the diameter D 2 of the wire portion, it is possible to provide a printing wire for a dot printer that has excellent impact resistance and fatigue resistance, and is lightweight.

Here, the basis for numerically limiting the dimensions of the head portion and the head reinforcement portion will be described.

(b) The diameter of the head must be at least 1.5 times the diameter of the wire to prevent the spring from jumping out from the head, and if it exceeds 2.3 times, the degree of plastic working during head molding will increase. Too much and cracks occur in the head. Therefore, the diameter of the head section should be 1.5 to 2.3 times the diameter of the wire section.

(b) The thickness of the head section must be at least 0.2 times the diameter of the wire section in order to maintain its strength.
If it exceeds 0.5 times, the weight of the head becomes large and it is difficult to increase the printing speed. Therefore, the thickness of the head portion should be 0.2 to 0.5 times the diameter of the wire portion.

(c) The head reinforcement part serves to reinforce the connection between the head part and the wire part and to guide the spring, but its diameter must be at least 1.2 times the diameter of the wire part.
Does not serve as reinforcement. Additionally, if it exceeds 0.8 times the diameter of the head, the value of D 1 - D 3 will become small, and the spring sitting there will not sit well and will not serve as a good guide, and the connection between the wire and the spring will deteriorate. This phenomenon occurs, causing uneven wear on the wire portion.
Therefore, the diameter of the head reinforcing section should be at least 1.2 times the diameter of the wire section and at most 0.8 times the diameter of the head section. (d) If the thickness of the head reinforcing part is not less than 0.2 times the diameter of the wire part, it will not function as a reinforcement, and if it exceeds 0.8 times, the weight of the head part will increase and it will be difficult to increase the printing speed. Therefore, the thickness of the head reinforcing portion should be 0.2 to 0.8 times the wire diameter.

As shown in Figure 1, a wire is formed by drawing high-speed steel to a diameter of 0.3 mm, and the wire is
The wire portion 1 is formed by annealing to Hv300 and cutting to a predetermined size of about 40 mm. Next, one end of the wire portion 1 is subjected to header processing to form a head portion 2. At this time, a rib-shaped head reinforcing portion 3 as shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B is also provided to constitute a printing wire 4 for a dot printer.

The diameter D 1 of the head part 2 is 1.5 to 2.5 times the diameter D 2 of the wire part 1 to prevent the spring from coming off, and the thickness T 1 of the head part 2 is to resist the abrasion caused by the spring and the impact abrasion of the armature. To achieve this, the diameter D2 of the wire portion 1 should be 0.2 to 0.5 times. In addition, the head reinforcement part 3 prevents the head part 2 from being affected by the impact of the amateur.
In order to prevent damage to the wire, prevent uneven wear due to movement of the spring, and prevent the spring from popping out from the head portion 2, the diameter D 3 is at least 1.2 times the diameter D 2 of the wire portion 1 and the head portion diameter D 1. The thickness T 2 is 0.2 to 0.8 times the diameter D 2 of the wire portion 1.

It is possible to prevent the spring from popping out from the head part, suppress the degree of plastic working during molding of the head part, and prevent cracks from occurring in the head part. Further, the head portion can be reinforced, the weight of the head portion and the head reinforcement portion can be reduced, and printing speed can be increased. Furthermore, contact phenomenon between the wire portion and the spring does not occur, uneven wear of the wire portion can be prevented, and the life of the printing wire can be extended four times.
