しかし、これらには次のような欠点があった。（１）．ハンドルロックは、力を入れて動かせば壊れて動いてしまう。（２）．チェーンロックは、道具を使って切れば外れてしまう。（３）．自家用車のドアロックも、こじ開けることが出来るようである。（４）．エンジンスイッチのキーシリンダーに付いている配線のソケットを外して直結し、キックを動かす等すればエンジンがかかってしまうので、心無い人に持っていかれて勝手に使用されるという事がよくある。本考案は、これらの点を解決するためになされたものである。 However, these have the following drawbacks.
