A high-mounted stop light that uses an LED (light emitting diode) as a light source and is built into the rear spoiler has a light emitting surface (lens) 21 mainly in the lower half as shown in Figure 8, and a part of the spoiler 20 is used as a lamp cover. A mounting flange 22 may be provided on the rear end surface and fixed with screws, or a light emitting surface 21' may be provided with a shape that also serves as the tip of the spoiler 20 as shown in FIG.
It has a structure in which it is fixed with screws.

The present invention is a vehicle light that is installed as a built-in type at the tip of a rear spoiler. The lens portion is shaped to serve as both the upper and lower surfaces of the tip of the spoiler, and the surface in contact with the rear spoiler is a curved or inclined surface. The spoiler is characterized in that a spring is interposed between the spoiler and the support section inside the spoiler to maintain the normal shape with a required tensile force.

1 to 4 show an embodiment of the present invention, in which a lamp body 1 is shaped to also serve as the tip of a spoiler 10, and the contact surface between the body 1 and the spoiler 10 is a curved surface with a radius R. A spring 2 is interposed between the back surface of the main body 1 and the support part on the side of the spoiler 10, and its force brings the lamp main body 1 into close contact with the spoiler 10, and maintains a predetermined form against the external force of the allowable load. That's what I do. The tensile force T of the spring 2 for this purpose is T≦l 1 ·W/μ. However, W is the maximum allowable load, μ is the friction coefficient of the contact surface between the lamp body and the spoiler, and l 1 is the distance between the load point and the center point of the curved surface (see Figure 4).

With this structure, when a force exceeding the allowable load is applied to the lamp body 1 from above or below,
The lamp body 1 is tilted due to movement of the contact surface. This prevents damage to the lamp body 1.

When the external force disappears, it returns to its original state due to the force of spring 2. At this time, the positioning protrusion 3 fits into the recess again and assumes its normal shape.

Furthermore, since the lens portion of the main body 1 is shaped to serve as both the upper and lower surfaces of the spoiler tip, it becomes easier to emit light upward from the light source (such as an LED) 4, and a desired light distribution can be obtained.

FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which the lamp body 1' has a rear surface having a triangular cross-sectional shape, and the surface in contact with the spoiler 10 is a flat (slanted) surface. A spring 2 is interposed between the central part of the back of the main body and the support part on the spoiler side.

The tensile force of the spring 2 in this case has two values: when the lamp body 1' rotates around the fulcrum O under load (see Figure 6), and when the lamp body slides (see Figure 7). Although T 1 and T 2 can be calculated, the smaller value is set.

It rotates or slides using the outer edge of the contact surface with 0 as a fulcrum, and concentration of load on one point is prevented. This prevents damage to the lamp.

As described above, according to the present invention, the contact surface with the spoiler is used as a guide for rotation or sliding, and is tensioned by a spring to maintain a predetermined shape. Therefore, when an excessive load is applied, the rotation or sliding prevents load concentration. It is effective in preventing damage. In addition, the tip of the spoiler has a shape that serves as both the top and bottom, making it easier to emit light upwards.
Desired light distribution can be easily obtained. Furthermore, since the shape is maintained using the force of the spring, assembly work becomes easier.
