(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a display device capable of reducing EL vibration. [Structure] A shield tin plate 8 is placed on a printed circuit board 1, and an EL composed of a holder-2 for supporting an LCD, an aluminum electrode 3, a light-emitting body 4 and a transparent electrode 5 is a double-sided TE. -Adhered by poop 9. A voltage of about 100 V AC is applied to both electrodes of the EL, the aluminum electrode 3 is hot and the transparent electrode 5 is connected to the ground. Due to the potential difference between the aluminum electrode 3 and the shield plate 8, electrostatic coupling occurs and a force synchronized with AC100V acts between them. Since the aluminum electrode 3 is fixed to the LCD holder-2 by the double-sided tape and the shield plate 8 is fixed to the printed board 1, the mass of each is equal to that of the LCD holder or the printed board. Increased by the amount EL
Acceleration a decreases. That is, the abnormal noise can be suppressed.

In FIG. 2, an EL formed by a holder-2 for supporting an LCD, an aluminum electrode 3, a light-emitting body 4 and a transparent electrode 5 on a printed circuit board 1,
Further, the LCD 6 is placed thereon, and the electrode 7 of the LCD penetrates the holder-2 and is soldered to the solder surface of the printed board 1. A voltage of about 100 V AC is applied to both electrodes of the EL, and the aluminum electrode 3 is normally connected to the ground and the transparent electrode 5 is connected to the hot electrode. At this time, LCD
A signal voltage of about 5 V is applied as a drive voltage to 6, and the potential difference between the LCD 6 and the transparent electrode 5 causes electrostatic coupling to exert a force in synchronization with AC 100 V therebetween.
Due to this force, the LCD 6 or the transparent electrode 5 vibrates and abnormal noise is generated.

Also, the latter is not clarified theoretically, and there are some products in which abnormal noise cannot be suppressed. As another example of countermeasures, there is a countermeasure that a conductive third electrode is attached so that the aluminum electrode 3 is sandwiched between the transparent electrode 5 and the same potential as that of the transparent electrode 5, and the aluminum electrode 3 is dropped to the ground. It costs money and is not clear in theory.

First, a voltage of about 100 V AC is applied to both electrodes of the EL, the aluminum electrode 3 is hot, and the transparent electrode 5 is grounded. At this time, a signal voltage of about 5 V is applied to the LCD 6 as a drive voltage, and the potential difference between the LCD 6 and the transparent electrode 5 is about 5 V, so that the electrostatic coupling is small and the force acting between them is also small. Further, electrostatic coupling occurs due to the potential difference between the aluminum electrode 3 and the shield plate 8
The force synchronized with V works between them. The force that acts between them is F,
If the mass of the substance is M and the acceleration generated in the substance is a, then F = Ma.
