It can contribute to the protection of rainforests and also has excellent surface scratch resistance as compared with that of plywood base material, that is, due to the high surface hardness of MDF board, drop impact especially in the application as floor material Scratches, drag scratches from heavy objects, heel mark scratches from the heel of the shoe,
It is expected to be used because of its usefulness such as making casters such as chairs less likely to be scratched by casters.

Since the behavior of the DF plate against water is significantly different, harmful warpage, especially valley warpage with a lower central portion in the width direction, is likely to occur, which makes it difficult to maintain workability and flatness of the floor surface after construction. It is recognized to have the inherent problem of having. According to the investigation of the present inventors, the phenomenon of warpage of the decorative material using such a composite substrate is considered to be caused by the following behavior of each material due to the influence of moisture.

1) MDF board (12) with water-based adhesive (15) on it
When the layers are stacked and cold-bonded, MD is generated due to the moisture in the adhesive.
The F plate (11) swells, and a ridge warp in the width direction having a convex surface side occurs as shown in FIG. After that, the MDF plate (12) gradually releases water as water vapor and shrinks accordingly, while the water reaching the plywood (11) and absorbed therein moves in the thickness direction of the plywood, As the plywood swells with a delay, the plywood is restored to a substantially flat state as a whole as shown in (c) of the figure, or it changes to a valley warp that becomes concave on the upper surface side of the MDF plate (12) and stabilizes. . However, the substrate (1) formed by laminating the plywood (11) and the MDF plate (12)
When the adhesive veneer (14) is applied to the upper surface side of 0) and the decorative veneer (13) is thermocompression-bonded, in addition to water in the adhesive,
Due to the influence of water in the decorative veneer (13), the hill warp tendency is once amplified as shown in FIG. 7 (d) immediately after the thermocompression bonding, but thereafter, with the progress of cooling, Due to the volatilization of water on the surface side, the shrinkage of the decorative veneer (13) and the MDF plate (12) has a greater effect, and as a result, the entire center is concave as shown in FIG. Causes a valley warp state. Furthermore, this decorative veneer (13)
In many cases, the required coating is performed on the surface of the above, but when the coating is performed, the above-mentioned valley warp tends to further increase with the curing, and is stabilized.

Needless to say. It is well known that, from the viewpoints of workability and good finish, it is rather preferable that the decorative material as a whole has a slight tendency to warp.

Regarding the groove depth, in relation to the thickness of the MDF plate (3), it is in the range of 1/5 to 1/2, particularly preferably 1/4.
It is preferable to set in the range of about 1/3. Further, the groove area ratio refers to the ratio of the opening area of the groove to the surface area of the MDF plate, and the range of 5 to 50% is a proper range, and the range of 5 to 30% is particularly preferable. Furthermore, the groove pitch is appropriately set in relation to the groove width and the groove area ratio, but is 3 to 30 mm, especially 5
It is general and preferable to set the pitch to about 15 mm.

The design conditions should be considered so that the strength, especially the bending strength, is not significantly impaired. The groove width is 0.
The groove depth is about 5 to 5 mm, and the groove depth is 1 / the thickness of the plywood (2).
6 to 1/2, particularly preferably about 1/6 to 1/3, the groove area ratio is set to about 0.5 to 30% of the surface area of the plywood, and the groove pitch is set to about 30 to 150 mm. Target. When the groove width, the groove depth, and the area ratio are all too small and the pitch is too large, the desired effect cannot be sufficiently exhibited. When the groove width, the groove depth, the area ratio are too large, or the groove pitch is too small, the strength of the plywood (2) becomes insufficient, which may impair the function as a strength member. The adhesive strength with the MDF plate (3) may be insufficient.

A predetermined back groove (6) is also formed on the lower surface of the MDF plate (3). Then, the backing material (5) is bonded and integrated to the back surface of the plywood (2), and then MD is applied to the upper surface of the plywood (2) with the adhesive (8).
The F board (3) is attached and integrated to produce the composite substrate (1). Lamination of this plywood (2) and MDF board (3)
Generally, it is performed by cold pressure bonding. Immediately after this bonding, the substrate (1) as a whole shows a slight mountain warp tendency as shown in FIG.
As the water vaporizes from the plate (3), it is restored to a substantially flat state and stabilized as shown in FIG. Therefore, next, the decorative material (4) is superposed on the upper surface of the substrate (1) via the adhesive (9), and thermocompression bonded and integrated to obtain the desired decorative material (A).

する。According to the present invention, since the MDF plate (3) is used on the upper surface side of the composite substrate, it has excellent scratch resistance depending on its own surface hardness. Of course, since the back surface of the MDF plate (3) is formed with a large number of back grooves (6) along the length direction, harmful warpage, especially valley warpage in the width direction is caused. It is possible to provide a decorative material having good workability and finish. The reason is as follows.
That is, when the plywood (2) and the MDF plate (3) are bonded, the area in which the MDF plate (3) contacts the adhesive (8) is reduced by the formation of the back groove (6). Therefore,
This is because the amount of water absorbed from the adhesive of the MDF plate (3) is reduced, and part of the water is released from the back groove (6) as water vapor during the water absorption process. Thus, the swelling deformation of the MDF plate (3) can be suppressed small.
In addition, after the above-mentioned bonding, even if the MDF plate (3) contracts due to the release of the absorbed water, the influence thereof is exerted on the plywood (2) side because of the adhesion area due to the formation of the back groove (6). It will be reduced by the decrease. That is, the back groove (6) has a relaxing effect on the relative expansion and contraction effect of the plywood (2) and the MDF board (3),
It is possible to prevent a large warp phenomenon from occurring in the entire substrate (1) including the plywood (2). This action has the same effect not only during the laminating step of the surface decorative material but also as a phenomenon associated with moisture absorption and release after production, and as a result, does not have harmful warpage and does not cause warpage. It is possible to provide materials.

When used together, the MDF plate (3) exerts a regulating action against the tendency that the whole substrate (1) tends to warp due to the contraction of the MDF plate (3), and at the same time, the extension deformation of the plywood (2) due to moisture swelling. On the other hand, the lower surface side also has a regulation effect,
It is possible to effectively prevent the occurrence of valley warp in the decorative material. Further, as in claim 3, by forming the front groove (7) on the upper surface of the plywood (2), the substantial adhesion area between the plywood (2) and the MDF board (3) is further reduced, and the mutual adhesion area is reduced. The effect of reducing the relative expansion and contraction deformation of MDF can be increased, and the amount of water movement from the MDF plate (3) side to the plywood (2) can be reduced,
In addition, it promotes the external release of water from the surface groove (7) to reduce the amount of swelling deformation of the plywood, which in turn causes the warpage of the decorative material,
In particular, it contributes to the prevention of valley warpage.

Manufactured various wood-based composite decorative boards by changing the presence or absence of the backing material and the material. In this manufacturing process, basically, a MDF plate having a back groove formed in advance is adhered by cold pressure bonding to a plywood plate having a front groove formed in advance and a backing material is adhered thereto to produce a composite substrate. The surface decorative material is pasted and integrated on the composite substrate by thermocompression bonding, then the surface of the surface decorative material is colored, and the abrasion-resistant paint mainly composed of polyurethane resin is applied and dried to complete the product. To get. As for the plywood, lauan plywood was used for all of the plies having a thickness of 5 mm, and for all the other plies of 5 plies. As the surface decorative material, oak veneer was commonly used.
