【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本願は、内燃機関などに供給される空気を濾過するため

もたらすことになる。すなわち、粗目の濾材は、濾過体
から離隔している分だけ大型化するとともにフィルタエ
レメントがケーシング内に装着された場合に粗目の濾材
とケーシング内壁との間の間隔が狭くなり、流路抵抗が

を有し該折り目の1つおきに、一方側端から上方に伸び
る山形の折り目4を有し、またこれらの間の他の折り目
に他方側端から下方に伸びる逆山形の折り目5を有する
矩形のシート状濾紙6から作られる。すなわち、シート
状濾紙6の一方側端の表面と他方側端の裏面とに、所定
巾にわたり接着剤塗布部7、8を設け、上記折り目にそ
ってひだ折り加工し、その両端を接合し環状体とすると
ともにその上端の内周縁にパッキン9を、またその下端
の外周縁に外周パッキン10を、各々形成することによ
