[Prior Art] In the conventional nuclear power plant, as shown in FIG.
A radiation shield plate for reducing radiation exposure (hereinafter abbreviated as shield plate) with a steel plate having a plate thickness of 16 mm or more on the maintenance passage 22 side around the equipment or pipe 21 that emits radiation to reduce the exposure dose to 0 24 are provided. However, in the nuclear power plant, the equipment that emits radiation or the welded portion 25 of the pipe 21 is required to be regularly inspected. At that time, since the shielding plate 24 interferes with the inspection work, the shielding plate 24 was disassembled each time the inspection work was performed, and was restored after the inspection work was completed.

The shielding plate 24 has a structure in which the dividing portion 26 is bolted so that it can be disassembled. However, since the plate thickness is large as described above, the disassembled product has a considerable weight. For this reason, there is a drawback that the inspection worker does not improve the work efficiency by the manual work while wearing the radiation protection suit, and the radiation exposure time becomes long.

Further, the radiation shield plate disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 55-170700 has a drawback that the number of components increases because the gap between the connecting portions of the rectangular plates is shielded by the lead-containing plate. Further, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 53-134753 discloses, as a device of a folding door, that a folded portion can be made into an inclined surface and abutted against each other to prevent see-through of a joint between panels.

However, all of these known examples open and close only in the horizontal direction, and do not consider opening and closing in the vertical direction. Therefore, the shield plate's own weight cannot be used, and it is necessary to apply a load to both the opening and closing operations.

According to the present invention, in a radiation shield device for reducing radiation exposure provided in the vicinity of a device or a pipe that emits radiation, the shield device is divided into a plurality of rectangular shield plates, and each shield plate is divided into a plurality of rectangular shield plates. Are connected by a hinge so that they can be folded, and the cross-sectional shape of the hinge connection portion is formed in a taper shape so that the ends of the adjacent shield plates overlap each other when they are deployed by the hinge. It is characterized in that when it is folded, it can be stored in the storage portion provided under the shielding plate by its own weight when used in the direction.

When a plurality of shield plates are vertically expanded by a hinge, the tapered portions formed in the hinge connection portions of the adjacent shield plates overlap each other, thereby closing the gap between the shield plate connection portions. This makes it possible to shield the gap without using a shield member other than the shield plate and prevent radiation from passing through the gap. On the other hand, during the inspection work, contrary to the above, the shielding plate can be bent and folded so that it can be stored so that it can be folded and folded vertically downward so that it will be in the closed state. You can do it without

FIG. 1 shows a vertically laid pipe 2 that emits radiation.
1 shows a state in which 1 is shielded (closed state), and at the time of inspection, the inspection worker turns the manual winch 16 in a direction to loosen it, so that the shielding device 11 descends by its own weight and is supported by the support 32 from the building. It is stored so as to be folded in the stored storage box 33 and is in an open state. When the shielding plate 12a has been stored, the hook 31 hooked on the hanging metal fitting 30 is removed and the lid 34 of the storage box 33 is closed, so that the inspection work of the welded portion 25 and the like is not hindered by the shielding device 11. it can.

The reason why the shielding plate 12 can be stored so as to be folded in the storage box 33 is that the hinge 13 is attached to the front side E on one long side of the shielding plate and the back side N on the other long side of the shielding plate as shown in FIG. Thus, when the shielding device 11 descends due to its own weight, the shielding plate 12b folds on the front side E of the shielding plate 12c as indicated by the arrow a, and then the shielding plate 12b and the shielding plate 12c lie on the back side N of the shielding plate 12d. Folds like an arrow. The other shielding plate 12 not shown in FIG. 2 is continuously repeated the above operation, so that it can be made compact in the storage box 33 by its own weight as shown in FIG. 3 without using a storage mechanism. Can be stored.

In FIG. 2, the cross section of the connecting portion between the shield plate 12b and the shield plate 12c (hereinafter, the same applies to the shield plate 12c and the shield plate 12d, and the same between other shield plates 12 not shown) is tapered P. The tapered portions are formed so as to overlap each other when the shield plates 12b and 12c are deployed.

The configuration of this embodiment is almost the same as that of the first embodiment described above. The different portion has a structure in which the shield plate 12 is moved in the vertical direction in the first embodiment, but this embodiment has a structure in which it moves in a curved shape. However, there is no change in folding using the dead weight of the shielding plate. In this structure, the guide rail 35, the fixed roller 36 inside the guide rail 35, and the movable roller 37 on the guide rail 35 side of each shield plate 12 are provided in accordance with the curved movement locus.
1 can move smoothly along the guide rail 35.

According to this embodiment, when the plurality of shield plates are expanded by the hinge, the cross-sectional shape of the hinge connection portion is formed to be tapered so that the end portions of the shield plates vertically adjacent to each other overlap each other. The gap can be shielded without using a shield member other than the shield plate to prevent radiation from passing through the gap. Further, since the present invention is used in the vertical direction, it can be lowered by its own weight when folded and can be easily stored in a storage box.
