(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Regarding a data processing device using a contactless data carrier used for fee-based use of facilities and equipment, etc., even if multiple data carriers are accessed at the same time, it is possible to narrow down to a specific data carrier. Allow reading and writing. An ID number reading unit 25 of a data carrier 20 which has received a command from an ID number reading command unit 15 of a reader / writer 10 encodes an ID number of a memory 21 by a reading and coding unit 26 according to a coding rule to make a data carrier. Send back to 20. Decoding unit 1 from encoded data of data carrier 20
After the ID number is restored at 7, it is encoded at the encoding unit 18 and sent back to the data carrier 20. The data carrier 20 collates the ID number restored by the decoding unit 28 with the ID number of the memory 21 by the collating unit 28, and if they coincide with each other, thereafter, reading or writing of part or all of the memory 21 is continued. to approve.

However, in the data processing device using such a non-contact data carrier, the data carrier adopting the coupling method of electrically connecting is one-to-one with the reader / writer. However, because of non-contact coupling, two data carriers 20A and 20B may simultaneously enter the communicable distance of the reader / writer 10 as shown in FIG. An error occurs when an access or read access is performed.

The transmission section 14 of the reader / writer 10 holds the same reference M-sequence signal as the M-sequence signal on the data carrier 20 side as a reference value, and calculates the correlation between the reference M-sequence signal and the received signal. The number is collated with the ID number read directly from the memory 21. As a result of this collation, if the two ID numbers match, the process proceeds to step S208, the access to the memory 21 is permitted, and based on the response of the access permission, the reader / writer 10 performs the write access to the data carrier 20 in the step S105. By the processing operation of the present invention, even if two data carriers 20A and 20B exist in the communicable area of the reader / writer 10 as shown in FIG. 4, for example,
First, the ID number read command is received, and the data access can be focused on one data carrier for which the ID number read process is started, and the memory access is permitted to perform the reading or writing. Further, in the embodiment of FIG. 1, the ID number read from the data carrier 20 is converted into encoded data according to the encoding rule and sent to the reader / writer 10 to be restored, and again encoded and sent to the data carrier 20. Although it is restored and collated, the read ID number may be directly exchanged with the reader / writer.

As described above, according to the present invention, even if the reader / writer is illegally used to read or write by using two or more data carriers at the same time, one data carrier is used. Since the memory access is narrowed down, the security performance of the data processing device using the contactless data carrier can be improved.

Further, even if there are two or more data carriers in the communicable area of the reader / writer, access can be focused on a specific data carrier, and therefore duplicate reading and writing on two or more data carriers is obviated. Can be prevented.
