The contact pressure between the grindstone surface of the grinder and the rail surface is unstable, so that there is a problem that unevenness remains on the finished surface of the grinding. In addition, the grinding noise is large, and there is a problem in terms of noise pollution.
In order to prevent so-called white wax, there has been a problem that continuous work cannot be performed for a long time and fatigue is great. This invention makes it a subject to solve such a problem.

To remove the raised protrusions of the deposited metal, the lower surface of the grinding belt on the pulley that does not connect the drive unit and the lower surface of the roller parallel to the spindle of the pulley are almost at the same height. After adjusting the height of the frame so that the contact pressure with the rail surface becomes appropriate, the drive source is driven to rotate the grinding belt and the rail grinder is
By reciprocating along the longitudinal direction of the rail, the rising convex portion of the deposited metal is removed. When the top surface of the rail is ground, the frame body (3) is vertically held and the rail guide rollers (41), (4) on both legs of the frame body are grasped.
1) is brought into contact with the top surface of the rail, and rail guide rollers (42), (42) are brought into contact with the top surface of the rail. Thereby, the grinding belt (23) is stably guided to the top surface of the rail, and grinding can be performed along the top surface.
When the head side surface of the rail is ground, the frame body (3) is held horizontally and the rail guide rollers (41),
(41) is brought into contact with the side surface of the rail head, and rail guide rollers (42) and (42) are brought into contact with the top surface of the rail. As a result, the grinding belt (23) is stably guided to the head side surface of the rail, and grinding can be performed along the head side surface. Further, when the gauge corner portion of the rail is ground, the frame body (3) is obliquely held and the rail guide rollers (41) and (41) are brought into contact with the gauge corner portion on the side to be ground. , The rail guide rollers (42) and (42) are brought into contact with the opposite gauge corners. As a result, the grinding belt (23) is stably guided to the gauge corner of the rail on the side to be ground,
Grinding can be performed along the gauge corner portion.
