記カバー部材の扉相当部分におけるヒンジ相当部分に位
置し上記扉状メツシユ部材と上記枠状メツシユ部材とを
連結するメツシユ部材部分の縁部には、上記扉状メツシ
ユ部材の側縁から上記枠状メツシユ部材の上縁にわた
り、繊維材あるいは弾性材から成る補強部材が取付けら
れていることを特徴とする、エアバッグ用カバー部材構
造。1. A box-shaped resin cover member, which is arranged so as to cover a gas generator and covers an airbag which is inflated by gas generated from the gas generator in a folded state, and the air in the cover member is provided. A fragile portion is formed in a door-like contour so that the end portion covering the bag is cut to open the door around the hinge when the airbag is inflated, and the cover is provided so as to avoid the fragile portion. A door-shaped mesh member is provided in the door-corresponding portion of the member, and a frame-shaped mesh member is provided in the peripheral wall portion of the cover member, which is located at a hinge-corresponding portion in the door-corresponding portion of the cover member. The edge portion of the mesh member portion connecting the mesh member and the frame mesh member includes a fiber material or an elastic member extending from a side edge of the door mesh member to an upper edge of the frame mesh member. Characterized in that a reinforcing member made of wood is attached, the cover member structure for an air bag.
