In this, a part of the covering material of the main wire 1 is removed to expose the core wire, the terminal core wire of the subsidiary wire 2 is applied to the exposed portion, and the sleeve 3 is used to electrically connect both wires, Thereafter, the periphery of this connecting portion is adhered by using a heat-shrinkable tube 4 for waterproofing and insulation. In addition, 5 is an adhesive applied to the inner peripheral surface of the heat-shrinkable tube 4, and the adhesive 5 is softened by heating the heat-shrinkable tube 4 after covering the connection portion of the electric wire, Further, the shrinking force of the heat-shrinkable tube 4 pushes the softening adhesive into the gap between the wire cores,
The waterproofness and insulation of the connection part are maintained.

Since the tube (see FIG. 5) must be inserted, the heat-shrinkable tube 4 can be inserted into the parent wire 1, so that the connection end of the parent wire 1 that is connected in advance must be removed. In addition, there is a problem that work such as cutting the middle of the main wire 1 is required, and it takes a lot of time and effort to connect the electric wires to each other and to waterproof the connection part.

It is to facilitate the attachment of the heat-shrinkable tube to the connecting electric wire. In addition, since the heat-shrinkable tube is provided with slits in the busbar direction, the adhesion of the heat-shrinkable tube to the electric wire during heat shrinkage is impaired. It is an object of the present invention to provide a waterproof device for an electric wire connecting portion, which can secure insulation and waterproofness of the electric wire connecting portion by using a metal fitting for temporarily holding the adhesive until the adhesive is solidified on the outside of the electric wire connecting portion.

The connecting means between the parent line 11 and the child line 12 is the same as in the conventional example. Reference numeral 13 is a short tube made of a heat-shrinkable resin material that can be adhered to the connecting portion between the main wire 11 and the child wire 12, and the heat-softening adhesive 14 is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the short tube 13. Has been applied. Further, a slit 15 is formed in the generatrix direction of the short tube 13. Reference numeral 16 denotes a clip that presses the peripheral surface of the short tube 13. The clip 16 is made of a flexible elastic metal plate and has a substantially C-shaped end surface. Part 1
7, 17 ', 17 "are separated from each other. Also, those tightening portions 17, 17', 17" in the normal state in which an external force is not applied.
The inner diameter of is set smaller than the outer diameter of the short tube 13,
When the clip 16 is put on the short pipe 13, the elastic force of the clip 16 acts on the short pipe 13.

However, since the slit 15 is provided in the short pipe 13, the short pipe 13 can be attached to the connecting portion of the electric wire by opening the slit 15. Then, after attaching the clip 16 to the outer periphery of the short tube 13,
The short tube 13 is heated to cause thermal contraction.
Since a part of the short tube 13 is pressed and held by the tightening portions 17, 17 ', 17 "of the clip 16 so as not to be thermally shrunk, the entire slit of the short tube 13 is not opened by the heating. Therefore, the short tube 13 is partially heat-shrinked, and the softening adhesive located inside the heat-shrinkable portion is pushed into the core wire of the connecting electric wire to maintain sufficient waterproofness. After the short tube 13 is adhered by the heat shrinkage, the clip 16 is removed to complete the insulation and waterproofing of the electric wire connecting portion.

Since the short pipe 13 can be attached, the work of inserting the short pipe into the electric wire, which is the conventional technique of inserting the short pipe into the electric wire before connecting the electric wire, can be omitted, and workability for insulation and waterproofing of the electric wire connection portion is improved. To be done.

In the waterproof device of the connecting part, the short pipe 13 is provided with slits 15 connected to both ends thereof, the slit 15 covers the connecting part, and further, a spring having a substantially C-shaped cross section outside the short pipe 13. Since this is a waterproof device for an electric wire connecting part equipped with a clip 16 made of a material, according to this, the short pipe 13 covering the electric wire connecting part has a slit in the generatrix direction, so By using the short pipe 13 after the connection of the electric wire, the short pipe 13 can be attached to the outside of the connecting portion, so that the short pipe is inserted into the electric wire before the electric wire is connected, as in the conventional case. Wire connection Effect that the workability is improved for the insulating waterproof is obtained.
