The unevenness caused by the hairline processing is also reflected in the translucent overcoat layer formed thereon. Therefore, the dirt attached to the surface of the overcoat layer is less noticeable than in the case of having a glossy surface. On the other hand, the unevenness of the hairline foil, that is, the unevenness of the overcoat layer means that fine grooves are formed in a substantially constant direction. Therefore, when wiping off stains, the overcoat layer is formed along the hairline direction. Wiping can be done easily.

Fold lines 2, 3, 4, 5 parallel to the sides are formed on the peripheral portion of the underlay sheet 1. Further, fold lines 6 extending outward at an angle of about 45 ° from the intersections of the fold lines 2 and the fold lines 4 orthogonal to each other on the side of the underlay sheet 1 are formed at each corner of the underlay sheet 1. It is adhered by a polyethylene resin 12. An aluminum layer 14 formed by vapor deposition is laminated on the lower surface of the flame-retardant paper 10 via a polyethylene layer 13.
The surface of the aluminum layer 14 is coated with a polyethylene terephthalate layer 15. On the other hand, on the surface of the hairline foil 11, a hairline 16 in which concave and convex grooves are arranged in a constant direction (direction penetrating the paper surface) is formed, and an overcoat layer 17 is provided on the surface. As shown in the drawing, the overcoat layer 17 has a thickness such that the irregularities of the hairline 16 are reflected on the surface thereof.

From the viewpoint of durability, it is preferable to use the flame-retardant paper 10 having a thickness of 150 μm or more, but this is not an absolute condition from the economical point of view.

Since the aluminum foil is excellent in light reflection, even such a streak can produce a surface pattern that is significantly different from a simple aluminum foil surface.

Therefore, stains such as oil splashes during use can be easily removed by wiping the overcoat layer 17 along the hairline 16 with a tissue paper or the like. Moreover, since the hairline 16 that can be seen through the overcoat layer 17 is formed on the surface of the foil 11, stains are less noticeable than in the case of having a glossy surface.

When using less than hairline foil 11, flame-retardant paper 1
The unevenness of 0 may deform the hairline foil 11 and spoil the appearance of the hairline 16. Therefore, when the hairline foil 11 having a thickness of less than 15 μm is used, it is preferable that thin paper is attached to the back surface of the hairline foil 11 in advance and the flame-retardant paper 10 is attached. As a result, the underlayment sheet 1 having a beautiful surface can be obtained even when the thin hairline foil 11 is used. Further, when the front and back sides of the flame-retardant paper have different irregularities, it is preferable to provide a hairline foil on the side with less irregularities.

By properly folding 4, 5, 6, 7 the underlayment sheet can be adapted to the size of the table. On this occasion,
As shown in FIG. 3, if the underlay sheet 1 is bent at a right angle along the fold lines 2, 3 or 4, the underlay sheet 1 can be extended also to the side surface of the base on which the underlay sheet 1 is placed. At this time, the fold lines 6 or 7 are folded so as to be folded.

By providing the coat layer, it is possible to obtain a lower sheet in which dirt is less noticeable and dirt is easily wiped off.
