The size of the insertion hole or groove must be determined according to the maximum size ski, so skis other than the maximum size will fit in these insertion holes or grooves in a loose fit state. A rattling noise will be generated while the vehicle is running, and the ski will be damaged. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a frame-shaped or plate-shaped base member that is attached to the outer surface of the vehicle body by fixing means, and a ski that is vertically projected by projecting outward at a plurality of vertical positions of the base member. A rack member provided with an insertion hole for inserting,
An object of the present invention is to provide a ski carrier for an automobile, which does not cause rattling of the ski in the insertion hole of the rack member while the vehicle is running, regardless of the size of the ski.

Insertion holes 6, 8 for inserting skis that are vertically protruded outward at a predetermined interval in the direction
A plurality of rack members 5, 7 and 9 provided with 14 are provided, and at least one of the rack members is made of an elastic material for pressing and fixing the inserted ski at the hole edge portion of the insertion hole. The pad piece 23 is provided so as to project inward, and the pad piece is provided with a plurality of cuts or recesses 24 at a plurality of locations along the hole edge portion in a direction substantially orthogonal to the hole edge portion. Since the structure is formed, the ski carrier 1 can be attached to the vehicle body and the ski can be fixed to the ski carrier 1 easily and reliably.
