Various materials such as monohydrate inorganic sulfate are used. These deodorants have various properties such as powder, liquid, and gas, and particularly when the deodorant is fine particles, it has a drawback that it is easily scattered by itself and is difficult to handle. Also, when a container or holder for holding the deodorant is required, when the used container is discarded after the deodorizing function disappears, depending on the type of container such as metal or chemical product, it may be a waste material. Therefore, a deodorant product that can be easily discarded has been desired. Further, there has been a demand for a deodorant product which is high in cost for the deodorant and its holder and container and which is cheaper. A dry granular material composed of deodorizing wood pulp is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-7429. The deodorant granular material described in the publication consists of short fibers by-produced in the wood pulp or paper manufacturing process, and reacts aldehyde groups and carboxyl groups contained in the wood pulp raw material with odorous components such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. However, it is disclosed that a deodorizing effect is obtained. However, the odor component is often a mixture of various compounds originally, and a sufficient effect is obtained with a deodorant granule effective only for a single odor component such as the deodorant granule consisting of the wood pulp. Since it cannot be obtained, there has been a demand for a deodorant granular material corresponding to various target odor components.

It was not possible to deal with various odor components. In addition, other deodorant products had problems such as disposal and high price. The present invention has been made in order to solve the above problems, excellent deodorizing ability for various odorous components, biodegradable in soil, also easily dissociable in water It is also an object of the present invention to provide a low-cost deodorant pellet that has a small amount of ash even when incinerated and is easily discarded. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a deodorant pellet, which allows a deodorant added to a natural plant-based material to be contained efficiently and the pellet to have a uniform shape.

The deodorant pellet of the present invention is composed of at least a natural plant-based material and a deodorant, and the natural plant-based material includes mechanical pulp, wood pulp such as chemical pulp and semi-chemical pulp, jade lichen, rice chaff and the like. Examples thereof include those obtained by crushing the plant fiber of (1) into powdery or fine fibers, and any material made from natural plant fiber can be applied without particular limitation. Since these plant fibers are natural materials, they easily dissociate in water, so when they are disposed of in flush toilets, there is no clogging of pipes, etc., and they are biodegradable even when buried in the soil. It can be completely disassembled. In addition, it is a material that can be recommended from an ecological point of view, such as leaving no ash that remains a problem even when incinerated. Furthermore, it is possible to supply deodorant pellets that are cheaper than other chemicals. In addition, examples of the deodorant include ferrous sulfate, L-ascorbic acid, zinc soap, anhydrides such as phthalic anhydride, activated carbon, and deodorants composed of natural plant components. If the substance has a deodorizing function, it is particularly limited. It can be applied without being done. In the present invention, among the above-mentioned natural plant-based materials and deodorants, the natural plant-based material is preferably wood pulp, and the deodorant is preferably dry-dried bamboo, which is a deodorant composed of natural plant components. Because, it is easy to uniformly mix the fibers of wood pulp and the fibers of bamboo contained in dry-distilled bamboo, and it is easy to obtain deodorant pellets having excellent deodorizing ability because odorous components are easily incorporated between the fibers. Is. In addition, as the dried bamboo, there is a brand name such as NIPPON BAKE KEN BADEOR.

In this case, the deodorant is preferably 80 to 10% by weight with respect to 20 to 90% by weight of the natural plant material. because,
This is because if the content ratio is within this range, deodorizing pellets having an excellent deodorizing effect can be obtained, and the deodorizing agent is likely to be uniformly dispersed in the natural plant material. Further, the deodorant pellets of the present invention may contain a binder resin in order to maintain the shape.

In the method for producing deodorant pellets of the present invention, an appropriate amount of water is added to a dried natural plant material, and the mixture is stirred to produce a pulp-like material having a water content of 30 to 70% by weight. A deodorant and a deodorant are put into a mixer having a stirring blade and mixed by stirring to prepare a raw material for a deodorant pulp-like material, and this raw material is fed to a pelletizing device provided with a die to obtain a deodorant pellet. Then, the slurry-like natural plant material is dehydrated by a dehydrator such as a centrifuge, and water is removed from the slurry-like natural plant material to obtain a pulp-like material having a water content of 30 to 70% by weight. be able to. In this case, if the amount of water in the pulp-like material is less than 30% by weight, the fibers of the pulp-like material are in close contact with each other, so that it is difficult to uniformly disperse the deodorant.
If it exceeds 5% by weight, it becomes pasty and difficult to pelletize.

Further, even when incinerated, a low-cost deodorant pellet with little ash content and easy to discard can be obtained. Further, in the present invention, since the natural plant fiber and the deodorant are stirred and mixed by a mixer having a stirring blade, it is possible to obtain deodorant pulp pellets in which the deodorant is uniformly dispersed. Further, since it is applied to a pelletizing device provided with a die, deodorant pellets having a uniform shape can be obtained.
