Abstract

(57)【要約】 （修正有） 【目 的】生ゴミの堆肥化容器を単なるゴミ箱としてで
はなく、庭石、置物等の形に造形をし、観賞対象物とし
てコンポストの機能と合わせ持たせ、やっかい物のゴミ
箱としてのイメージをなくすることにより、コンポスト
の良さは分かっているが、置き場所に困っている人々に
利用出来るようにすることが、コンポストの普及にはず
みをつけ、生ゴミの処理が自然のサイクルにより土に還
元される機会を増やすものである。そのことが自治体が
行っている収集運搬、焼却といった労力と費用節減につ
ながり、地球環境保全にも大いに役立つものである。 【構 成】庭石型、庭園資材、あるいは丸太型に造形
した生ゴミを堆肥化する容器。当該容器は、生ゴミの投
入口（蓋付）、生ゴミの貯留空間を有する。

【産業上の利用分野】
この実用新案は生ゴミを堆肥化する容器（コンポスト）に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来のものは大きなバケツを裏かえしにした形の上部に生ゴミ投入蓋のある、 単なる生ゴミを堆肥化するための機能のみのもので、一見してコンポストとわか るものであり、畑の一角に設置されたものが多く、生ゴミの発生場所である台所 近くに置かれたものはほとんどなく、コンポストの良さは分かっていても、置き 場所に困って利用出来ないのが実情である。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
小さな宅地の中の限られた庭の中に明らかに堆肥容器（コンポスト）とわかる ものでは、生ゴミという物の性質上、設置したくても心理的にも景観上も設置で きないのが現状であり、造園材料である庭石型に、又は庭園資材に造形された堆 肥容器（コンポスト）であれば、造園の一部として、景観に溶け込んだ観賞対象 物として積極的に利用出来ることから、コンポストの普及にはずみがつくもので ある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
庭園に使う庭石、置物等の形をプラスチック又は金属等で作り、内部を空洞と し、上部に生ゴミ投入蓋付の底なしの生ゴミを堆肥化する容器（コンポスト）と しての機能を持たせた造園材と、コンポストの機能を合わせ持たせた製品を作る 。

【作 用】
地方自治体は家庭から出る生ゴミの処理に、多大の労力と費用をかけ焼却して いるが、各家庭で生ゴミを堆肥化することにより、自然のサイクルに戻すことに なり、地球環境保全に役立ち、一方では増え続けるゴミの量を減少させることが 出来るため、コンポスト購入者に補助金を出して普及に力を入れているが、従来 のものでは設置したくてもゴミ容器の一種と一見して分かるため、心理的にも景 観上も、小さな宅地の場合積極的に利用出来ない家庭が多く、市街地では普及が 進まないのであるが、この製品はその弱点を克服し、例えば庭石を庭に入れると いう感覚で積極的導入により、コンポストの普及にはずみがつくものです。

【実施例】
以下、本案の実施例について説明する。 （イ）庭石の形の内部を空洞とした底なしの上部に、密閉できるゴミ投入蓋のあ る外見上庭石型の堆肥容器を作り、庭園の中に景石として使用すると共に、コン ポストとしても使用出来るものを作り、やっかい物のゴミ箱のイメージをなくし て、観賞対象物として身近に置けるようにした。 （ロ）切丸太に造形した内部を空洞の底なしの上部にゴミ投入蓋のある堆肥容器 を作り、駐車場の一角に設置し、一見してコンポストとは判別出来ない形にした 堆肥容器を作り、違和感なく置けるようにした。

【考案の効果】
従来の堆肥化容器（コンポスト）と違い、本案のものはゴミ箱としてのイメー ジがなくなるため、身近なところにある小さな空地に景観上の観賞対象物として 置けるため、生ゴミが発生する台所近くに置くことが出来、利用者が増大し、自 治体の行っている生ゴミ処分の労力と費用減が計られると共に、生ゴミ処分が自 然のサイクルにより土に還元されるため、自然環境にとっても理想の姿となる機 会が増える。
