Reference numerals 11a and 11b are tensile lines. This pull line 11
Reference characters a and 11b are thin iron wires, thin wires made of synthetic resin, or cotton threads. The upper ends of the pull lines 11a and 11b are fixed to the wiping member 6 at positions horizontally spaced from each other. The tensile wires 11a and 11b extend vertically along the surface of the rear window 1, one tensile wire 11a is inserted into the support pipe 12a, and the other tensile wire 11b is inserted into the support pipe 12b. . In the support pipes 12a and 12b, mouths 12c and 12d into which the tension wires 11a and 11b are inserted are projected to the lower edge surface of the rear window 1, and the other parts of the support pipes 12a and 12b are stored in the trunk room 20. Has been done. The support pipes 12a and 12b are made of flexible resin, resin having rigidity, or metal. In the trunk room 20, a support pipe 13 continuous with the support pipes 12a and 12b is provided. The support pipe 13 is connected to a pulling drive device 14. The pulling drive device 14 is a take-up reel 14a shown in FIG.
And a motor M for rotating the motor. As shown in FIG. 2, the tension wire 11a inserted in the support pipe 12a and the tension wire 1 inserted in the support pipe 12b.
Both 1b pass through the inside of the support pipe 13 and are wound on the take-up reel 14a.

When the rear wiper is not used, the wiping member 6
Is contracted by its elasticity and is located above the rear window 1. When removing the rainwater adhering to the rear window, the electric control circuit is started by the switch operation of the driver, and the motor M of the tension drive device 14 is operated once or continuously or several times intermittently. .
When the take-up reel 14a shown in FIG. 2 is driven by the motor M to wind the pulling wires 11a and 11b, the pulling wire 1
Reference numerals 1a and 11b denote mouth portions 12 of the support pipes 12a and 12b
It is pulled downward along the rear window 1 from c and 12d. The pulling wires 11a and 11b cause the wiping member 6 to expand by its own elasticity, and an intermediate portion of the wiping member 6 to which the pulling wires 11a and 11b are connected is brought into close contact with the outer surface of the rear window 1 in a horizontal state. While descending, rainwater on the outer surface of the rear window 1 is removed. In this embodiment, both end portions 6a and 6b of the wiping member 6 have rollers 4a and 4b.
It is hung on b and fixed to the support plates 2a and 2b, and the wiping member 6 is long. Therefore, when the wiping member 6 is pulled downward by the pull lines 11a and 11b, the wiping member 6 can sufficiently extend until it moves below the rear window 1.

In this embodiment, the wiping member 16 is made of a resin material having a small elongation. Supply reels 17a and 17b are provided on both sides of the upper portion of the rear window. The supply reels 17a and 17b are rotatably supported by shafts 19a and 19b. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the supply reels 17a and 17b are rewound by a spring 18. Both ends of the wiping member 16 are wound around the supply reels 17a and 17b.
As shown in FIG. 3, when the central portion of the wiping member 16 is pulled downward by the pulling wires 11a and 11b, the wiping member 16 wound around the supply reels 17a and 17b is sent out, and the pulling wires 11a and 11b. The wiping member 16 in the middle portion, to which is connected, moves down along the rear window, and rainwater is removed. When the pulling force generated by the pulling wires 11a and 11b is removed, the supply reel 17 is driven by the spring 18.
The a and 17b are rewound, and the wiping member 16 moves up.

Although not shown in FIG. 5, the trunk room 31
A pulling drive device 14 similar to that shown in FIG. 1 is housed therein. Each support pipe 1 from inside the guide cover 22
Tensile wires 11a and 11b inserted in 2a and 12b
Is pulled by the driving force of the pulling drive device 14. When the tension lines 11a and 11b are drawn, the sliding piece 26 in the guide cover 22 descends. As a result, the rubber wiping member 6 extends, and the portion of the wiping member 6 on which the surface of the rear window 1 is stretched descends in the horizontal state as indicated by the arrow in FIG. The surface rainwater is wiped off. When the sliding piece 26 slides in the guide cover 22, the wiping member 6 can slide in the hole 26a formed in the sliding piece 26. Therefore, when the sliding piece 26 descends, the wiping member 6 has its entire length. It will extend almost uniformly over the entire length.
Further, when the power of the tension driving device 14 is cut off, the sliding member 26 is returned to the upper end portion inside the guide cover 22 by the elastic contraction force of the wiping member 6 itself.

It is also possible to store the mechanism of the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 in the storage cover 21 as shown in FIG. In this case, it is also possible to provide the guide cover 22 and lower the wiping member 16 by the sliding piece 26 inside the guide cover 22.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the rainwater on the rear window is wiped by the wiping member made of rubber or the like, the rainwater can be removed without providing a wiper blade unlike the conventional rear wiper. Since it is not necessary to provide the wiper blade as described above, the mechanism becomes simpler than the conventional one.
