That is, a sheet-like article or a preliminary product having an opening to such an extent that the thermoplastic resin melted by plasticization and melting can be penetrated when pressure is applied while being in contact with the thermoplastic resin (hereinafter simply referred to as "having the opening"). The shaped product is supplied between the upper and lower molds, and the plasticized and melted thermoplastic resin is supplied between the sheet-shaped product having the opening or the preshaped product and the upper or lower mold,
The upper mold and / or the lower mold is moved while being supplied or immediately after being supplied, and press-molded to have a thermoplastic resin layer on both surfaces of the sheet-shaped material or the preshaped material through which good appearance is obtained. A sandwich molded product is obtained by a high cycle. Supply of plasticized and molten thermoplastic resin
It is performed from a supply port that is movable between the upper and lower molds and outside the system or a supply port from a resin passage provided in the upper or lower molds. Is better.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the thermoplastic resin, which has been plasticized and melted, is supplied from the supply port (7) between the lower mold and the sheet-shaped article or preshaped article having the opening, and while supplying. Immediately after the supply, the upper platen is lowered, and the upper mold (2) and the lower mold (4).
Press the molten resin with. As the supply port of the plasticized and melted resin, the supply port (11) from the resin passage (10) provided in the upper mold shown in FIG. 1 may be used. The sheet or pre-shaped product has openings of a certain size or larger depending on the viscosity of the thermoplastic resin that is plasticized and melted, the surface pressure during pressing, and the type of the sheet or pre-shaped product. If so, as shown in FIG. 4, the molten resin reaches the opposite side of the sheet-shaped article or the preshaped object through the opening (22), and the shaped molded article is the sheet-shaped object. The resin layer (3
A sandwich molded article (32) having 1,31 ′) is obtained. In this molding method, it is extremely important to make the time from the supply of the resin to the pressurization as short as possible in order to obtain a molded product having a good appearance. As a method of supplying the thermoplastic resin, there is also a method of using a supply port that can move between the upper and lower metal molds and the outside of the system, but in this case, it takes time to put the supply port in and out between the upper and lower metal molds. In addition, the time until the pressurization after the supply becomes longer and the appearance of the molded product tends to deteriorate. On the contrary, in order to obtain a molded product having a good appearance, a higher mold temperature is required and the cycle becomes longer.

The molded product obtained by the above-mentioned method has functions such as strengthening, decoration, vibration damping and the like, and has a good appearance, depending on the characteristics of the sheet-shaped product or the preshaped product having the openings supplied first.
