Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 1.a)酸化アルミニウム/酸化クロム−混晶より形成されたマトリックス材料 60〜98容量%及びb)マトリックス材料中に埋込まれた二酸化ジルコニウム 2〜40容量%より成り、 C)前記二酸化ジルコニウムが安定化酸素として、二酸化ジルコニウムと安定化 酸素とより成る混合物に対して10〜15moI%よりも多い、セリウム、プラ セオジム及びテルビウムの1種以上の酸化物を含有し、この際 d)安定化酸化物の添加量が、二酸化ジルコニウムが主として正方晶系変態で存 在するように選択されていて、 e)安定化酸化物を含有する二酸化ジルコニウム:酸化クロムのモル割合が1, 000:1〜201であり、 f)すべての成分の量が補充されて100容量%の焼結成形体になっており、 g)二酸化ジルコニウムが2μ■未満の粒度を有する ことを特徴とする焼結成形体。
- 2.a)酸化アルミニウムに対して0.01〜2.32容重量%の酸化クロム含 分を有する酸化アルミニウム/酸化クロムー混晶から形成されたマトリックス材 料少なくとも70容量%及び b)マトリックス中に埋込まれた二酸化ジルコニウム2〜30容量%より成り、 C)前記二酸化ジルコニウムが、二酸化ジルコニウムと酸化イットリウムとより 成る混合物に対して0.27〜2.85moI%の酸化イットリウムを含有し、 この際 d)二酸化ジルコニウムが2μ■未満の平均粒度を有していて、主として正方晶 系変態で存在する、請求項1記載の焼結成形体。
- 3.安定化酸化物を含有する二酸化ジルコニウム:酸化クロムのモル割合が37 0:1〜34:1である請求項2記載の焼結成形体。
- 4.a1)マトリツクス材料60〜98容量[同材料はa2)酸化アルミニウム /酸化クロムー混畠67.1〜99.2容量%及び a3)式SrAI12−■Cr■O1■(式中xは0.0007〜0.045の 値に等しい)で示される混晶0.8〜32.91量%より成る] b)マトリックス材料中に埋込まれた二酸化ジルコニウム2〜40容量より成り 、 C)前記二酸化ジルコニウムが安定化酸化物として、二酸化ジルコニウムと安定 化酸化物とより成る混合物に対して10〜15mo1%より多い、1種以上のセ リウム、プラセオジム及びテルビウムの酸化物及び/又は0.2〜3.5容量% の酸化イットリウムを含有し、この際 d)安定化酸化物の添加量が、二酸化ジルコニウムが主として正方晶系変態で存 在しかつ e)安定化酸化物を含有する二酸化ジルコニウム:酸化クロムのモル割合が1, 000:1〜20:1であり、 f)成分の量が補充されて100容量%の焼結成形体になっており、 g)二酸化ジルコニウムが2.μ■未満の粒度を有する ことを特徴とする焼結成形体。
- 5.マトリックス材料がさらに、同材料に対して2〜25容量%の、元素の周期 表の第1Vb族及び第Vb族金属の1種以上の炭化物、窒化物及び窒化炭素も含 有する請求項1又は4記載の焼結成形体。
- 6.安定化酸化物を含有する二酸化ジルコニウム:酸化クロムのモル比が、 二酸化クロム2〜5容量の範囲では、1,000:1〜100:1であり、二酸 化クロム5〜15容量の範囲では、200:1〜40:1であり、二酸化クロム 15〜30容量%の範囲では、100:1〜20:1であり、二酸化クロム30 〜40容量%の範囲では、40:1〜20:1である請求項1,4及び5のいず れか1項記載の焼結成形体。
- 7.30〜容量%未満の二酸化ジルコニウム量を有する、請求項1,4及び5の いずれか1項及び請求項6記載の焼結成形体。
- 8.二酸化ジルコニウムが少なくとも95容量%は正方晶系変態を有する、請求 項1,4及び5のいずれか1項及び請求項6及び7記載の焼結成形体。
- 9.二酸化ジルコニウムは合わせて0〜5容量が立方晶系及び/又は単斜昂系変 態で存在する、請求項1.4及び5のいずれか1項及び請求項6から請求項8記 載の焼結成形体。
- 10.0.8〜1.5μ■の酸化アルミニウム/酸化クロムー混晶の平均粒度を 有する、請求項1,4及び5のいずれか1項及び請求項6から請求項9記載の焼 結成形体。
- 11.0.2〜1.5μ■の二酸化ジルコニウムの粒度を有する、請求項1,4 及び5のいずれか1項及び請求項6から請求項10記載の焼結成形体。
- 12.焼結成形体に対して0.5容量%以下の不可避的不純物を有する、請求項 1,4及び5のいずれか1項及び請求項6から請求項11記載の焼結成形体。
- 13.1,800より大きいビッカース硬度[Hv0.5〕を有する請求項1, 4及び5のいずれか1項及び請求項6から請求項12記載の焼結成形体。
- 14.請求項1から請求項13までのいずれか1項記載の焼結成形体を、紙、繊 物及びシートを切断するための切断工具として使用すること。
- 15.請求項1から請求項13までのいずれか1項記載の焼結成形体を、鋳鉄又 は鋼材料を切削加工するための切削盤として使用すること。
- 16.請求項1から請求項13までのいずれか1項記載の焼結成形体を、鋳秩及 び鋼材料の断続的切削のための削盤に使用すること。
