Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(A)融点又は適当である場合には熱分解温度が1700℃より高い少なく とも一つの耐火性材料の複数の粒子を含んでいて、これらの料子は、 (B)X線回折パターンから決定される如きZが0.5から4の範囲にある式S i■−zAl2O3N■−■のシアロンから主として成る結合基質内に分散され ており、前記耐火性材料が、 (C)前記結合基質内に分散された六方晶系のホウ素窒化物及び/又は結晶質の 黒鉛薄片の複数の粒子をも含んでいる、 高い耐腐食性と昇温状態での高い機械的強度と高い耐熱衝撃性とを有する耐火材 料。 2.前記粒子(A)は、電気鋳造か焼結かを問わない鋼玉,ムライト又はMgO −Al2O3尖晶石,平板アルミナ,少なくとも85重量%のアルミナ成分を有 する電気鋳造材料,電気鋳造又は焼結されたマグネシア,少なくとも50%のア ルミナと5%のジルコニアを含むアルミナ/シリカ/ジルコニア系の電気鋳道材 料,Al4O4CとAl2OCタイプのアルミニウム酸化カーバイド,アルミニ ウム酸化窒化物を基とする製品,及びシリコンカーバイドから選択されることを 特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の耐火材料。 3.粒子(A)は、鋼玉から成ることを特徴とする請求の範囲1又は2に記載の 耐火材料。 4.31−85重量%の(A)と12−45重量%の(B)と3−42重量%の (C)とを含んでいることを特徴とする請求の範囲1乃至3の何れかに記載の耐 火材料。 5.36−68重量%の(A)と25−42重量%の(B)と5−30重量%の (C)とを含んでいることを特徴とする請求の範囲4に記載の耐火材料。 6.(1)(a)少なくとも90%が50μmと5mmの間の大きさで融点及び 適当な場合には熱分解温度が1700℃よりも高い33乃至88重量%の粒子と 、 (b)(i)粒子の少なくとも90%が150μmよりも小さい直径を有する2 3乃至90%のシリコン粉末と、(ii)粒子の少なくとも90%が20μmよ りも小さい直径を有する9乃至62%の■焼アルミナと、(iii)粒子の少な くとも90%が80μmよりも小さい直径を有していて前記成分(i)及び(i i)との合計が100%となり且つアルミニウムと■焼アルミナの割合が0.7 よりも小さい0乃至24%のアルミニウム粉末とを含む9乃至40%の反応粉末 混合物と、 (c)六方晶系のホウ素窒化物粒子又は結晶質の黒鉛薄片又は黒鉛薄片の少なく とも80%が100μmよりも大きい前記ホウ素窒化物粒子と黒鉛薄片との混合 物の3乃至45重量%の粒子と、 (d)前記成分(a)乃至(c)との合計が100%となるようにされた0乃至 3%の乾燥して粉末にされた耐火性粘土と、 (e)少量の一時的結合剤と、 の混合物が用意され、 (2)前記混合物(1)は押圧することにより所望の形状に成形され、 (3)(2)により成形された混合物は乾燥され、且つ、(4)(2)及び(3 )により成形され且つ乾燥された混合物は窒素雰囲気下1300℃乃至1600 ℃の温度で燃焼される、 ことを特徴とする耐火材料の製造方法。 7.成分(a)は、電気鋳造又は焼結された鋼玉,ムライト又はMgO−Al2 O3尖晶石の粒子,平版アルミナ,少なくとも85重量%のアルミナ成分を有す る電気鋳造材料,電気鋳造又は焼結されたマグネシア,少なくとも50%のアル ミナと5%のジルコニアを含むアルミナ/シリカ/ジルコニア系電気鋳造材料, Al4O4CとAl2OCタイプのアルミニウム酸化カーバイド,アルミニウム 酸化窒化物を基とする製品,及びシリコンカーバイドから選択されることを特徴 とする請求の範囲6に記載の製造方法。 8.成分(a)は、鋼玉粒子により形成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲 6又は7に記載の製造方法。 9.反応粉末混合物(b)は、35−45%の(i)と38−50%の(ii) と12−20%の(iii)を含んでいることを特徴とする請求の範囲6に記載 の製造方法。 10.出発バッチは40−75%の(a)と20−35%の(b)と5−33% の(c)を含んでいることを特徴とする請求の範囲6又は9に記載の製造方法。
