Claims (8)
- 1.複数の記号からなる信号を受信するよう動作する無線受信機の一部を形成す るビタービイコライザにおける状態遷移メトリックを決定する方法であって、前 記状態遷移メトリックは2つの連続する状態の関数として定義され、前記2つの 連続する状態の内の各状態は位相シフトキーイング変調機構の可能な記号の内の 記号の集合によって規定され、 前記方法は前記2つの連続する状態の関数として規定された状態遷移メトリック を位相シフトキーイング変調機構の可能な記号の集合の内の可能な記号間の対に よる差の関数として規定される状態遷移メトリックに変換する段階を具備する、 ビクービイコライザにおける状態遷移メトリックを決定する方法。
- 2.前記位相シフトキーイング変調機構は4相位相シフトキーイング変調機構か らなる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 3.前記位相シフトキーイング変調機構は差分、4相位相シフトキーイング変調 機構からなる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 4.前記変換段階は2つの連続する段階の関数として規定される状態遷移メトリ ックを前記位相シフトキーイング変調機構の可能な記号の集合の内の可能な記号 の間の対による差分の再帰関数として規定される状態遷移メトリックに変換する 段階を含む、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 5.前記状態遷移メトリックが前記変換段階の間に変換される再帰関数はある数 の再帰係数を含み、前記再帰関数を構成する再帰係数の数は前記2つの連続する 状態の内の各状態を規定する記号の集合を構成する記号の数に比例する、請求の 範囲第4項に記載の方法。
- 6.前記2つの連続する状態の内の各状態が規定される前記記号の集合は2つの 要素からなる、請求の範囲第5項に記載の方法。
- 7.前記位相シフトキーイング変調機構はπ/4差分4相位相シフトキーイング 変調機構からなる、請求の範囲第6項に記載の方法。
- 8.前記再帰関数は前記再帰関数を構成する再帰要素の実数部または虚数部に対 応する値を有する、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。
