The present invention relates to a discharge tube as a light source used in a lamp, and more particularly to a discharge tube type light source structure configured to prevent harmful effects of ultraviolet rays generated from the discharge tube.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a conventional example of a discharge tube type light source structure provided with an ultraviolet ray preventing means. The insulating base 1 is a member made of synthetic resin, on which the lead supports 2 and 3 are implanted. The lead support 2 supports the discharge tube 8 via the holder 4 and the lead wire 6, and the lead support 3 supports the discharge tube 8 via the holder 5 and the lead wire 7. Reference numeral 3a is an insulating tube externally fitted to the lead support 3, and 11a and 11b are terminals. Visible light and ultraviolet rays are emitted from the discharge tube 8, and the visible light is effectively used as a light source of a lamp. Ultraviolet rays are not only ineffective as a light source for a lamp, but are also harmful because they accelerate deterioration of the synthetic resin material forming the lamp. In this conventional example, the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays are prevented as follows. (A) The ceramic disk 9 is left to cover the surface on the side where the discharge tube 8 is attached to the insulating base 1 (that is, the surface where the insulating base 1 faces the discharge tube 8), and (b) the discharge tube. An ultraviolet shielding globe 10 is arranged so as to cover the periphery of 8. The member for protecting the insulating base 1 from ultraviolet rays needs to be opaque with respect to ultraviolet rays, and may be transparent or opaque with respect to visible light. Therefore, in this conventional example, the disk-shaped member 9 made of ceramics is used. However, the material that covers the discharge tube must be opaque to ultraviolet light and transparent to visible light (a so-called ultraviolet filter). The ultraviolet shielding globe 10 of this conventional example is coated with an ultraviolet shielding film made of ZnO. Further, the ultraviolet ray shielding globe 10 may have a topless cylindrical shape as shown by a solid line, or may have a top portion as shown by a chain line 10 '. The ultraviolet rays emitted from the discharge tube 8 toward the insulating base 1 are blocked by the ceramic disk 9 and do not reach the insulating base 1, so that they are not deteriorated. Further, visible light emitted from the discharge tube 8 toward the surroundings passes through the ultraviolet shielding globe 10 and is effectively utilized by being incident on a reflector (not shown). The reflector and the lens (both not shown) are blocked by the ultraviolet shielding globe 10 and do not reach. Therefore, even if the reflector or lens is made of synthetic resin, it does not deteriorate.

[Problems to be solved by the device]

According to the configuration of the conventional example shown in FIG. 3, each of the ceramic disk 9 and the ultraviolet ray shielding globe 10 has to be attached and fixed to the insulating base 1. Therefore, a fixing component is required, the number of component parts is large, and the number of man-hours required for assembly work is large. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and there is no fear that ultraviolet rays will deteriorate the constituent members of the lamp, and the number of constituent parts is small, and the workability of disassembly and assembly is good. The purpose is to provide a light source structure using.

[Means for Solving the Problems]

In order to achieve the above-mentioned objects (simple structure and easy assembly), the light source structure using the discharge tube of the present invention has a structure in which the discharge tube is attached to a base member made of an electrically insulating material. A structure for a light source, in which a plate for ultraviolet light shielding is mounted so as to cover a surface of the base member on which the discharge tube is attached, and an ultraviolet filter is provided so as to cover the periphery of the discharge tube. The plate for use is made of an elastic metal plate, is fixed to the base member, and is provided with recesses and protrusions that engage with the ultraviolet filter, and the ultraviolet filter is formed in a tubular shape or a capped tubular shape. At the same time, it is characterized in that the above-mentioned concave portion and the convex portion and concave portion that engage with the convex portion are provided and are supported by the ultraviolet ray shielding plate.

[Advantageous Effects] According to the above-mentioned configuration, the ultraviolet shielding plate made of a metal plate covering the insulating base has a function of supporting a cylindrical member (ultraviolet shielding globe) which is an ultraviolet filter. The number of mounting components is small. In addition, since the cylindrical ultraviolet filter is supported by engaging and recessing the ultraviolet light shielding plate, the cylindrical ultraviolet filter can be quickly and easily attached and detached.

FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing an embodiment of the present invention. The insulating base 1, the lead supports 2 and 3, the insulating tube 3a, the holder 4, the lead wires 6 and 7, the discharge tube 8 and the terminals 11a and 11b, which have the same reference numerals as those of the conventional example of FIG. It is a similar component. The ultraviolet light shielding plate 13 is formed by processing a metal plate having an appropriate elasticity into a metal plate, and is fixed to the insulating base 1 as described later with reference to FIG. Specifically, it is fixed by covering the surface (the upper surface in the figure) of the insulating base 1 on the side where the discharge tube 8 is mounted. A plurality of tongue pieces 13a are integrally formed on the above-mentioned light-shielding plate 13, and the ultraviolet-shielding globe 12 can be bent so as to sandwich it, and its tip (upper end in the figure) is the ultraviolet-shielding globe. It is folded toward 12. The ultraviolet shielding globe 12 is formed with a recess 12a that engages with the tip of the tongue piece 13a. The tongue piece 13a clamps the ultraviolet ray shielding globe 12a by an elastic restoring force and engages the tip of the ultraviolet ray shielding globe 12a with the concave portion 12a to elastically support the ultraviolet ray shielding globe 12a. Since the attachment structure is as described above, the ultraviolet blocking globe 12 can be quickly and easily attached and detached by bending the tongue piece 13a. The above-mentioned UV shielding globe 12 has a spherical top made of a glass material which is opaque to UV and transparent to visible light, or a glass material which is opaque to UV and has a transparent coating to visible light. It is a cylindrical member. When carrying out the present invention, the ultraviolet shielding globe 12 may be formed into a topless cylindrical shape. Ultraviolet rays emitted from the discharge tube 8 toward the insulating base 1 as shown by arrow a are reflected as shown by arrow b and absorbed by the ultraviolet shielding globe 12 which is an ultraviolet filter. Further, in the light flux emitted from the discharge tube 8 in the direction of arrow c, visible light passes through the ultraviolet ray shielding globe 12 and is effectively utilized, and ultraviolet rays are absorbed by the ultraviolet ray shielding globe 12. In this way, the ultraviolet rays emitted from the discharge tube 8 are absorbed by the ultraviolet shielding globe 12, and there is no risk of degrading the insulating base and other lamp component members (reflector, lens, etc.).
