Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 打球時の過度のバックスピン掛けを防止し、
ボールコントロールを容易に行なうことができるように
する。 【構成】 ヘッド本体１のフエース面２に凹部３を設
け、この凹部３に打球面板５をフエース面２と面一に嵌
合させて別体的に添設する。この打球面板５と凹部３と
の嵌合面間に弾性部材７を介在させて打球面板５を移動
可能にして弾性支持する。

【考案の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】
この考案は、アイアンクラブに好適に適用されるゴルフ用クラブヘッドに関し 、特に、ヘッド本体のフェース面に打球面板をゴム等の弾性部材を介して別体的 に添設することにより、打球時の過度のバックスピン掛けを防止し、ボールコン トロールを容易に行なうことができるようにしたものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種のアイアンクラブヘッドにおいては、ヘッド本体のフェース面に 打球面板を別体的に添設してなる構成を有するものがある。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、このような従来構造のものでは、打球面板がヘッド本体に接着 またはビス止め等により完全に固定されているために、打球時に、バックスピン が掛かり過ぎ易く、例えばグリーン上のホールをデッドに狙った際、過度のバッ クスピン掛けにより、グリーン上に落ちたボールが思わぬ位置まで転がり戻って しまい、これによって、ボールコントロールが難しいという問題があった。

【考案の目的】
この考案の目的は、打球時の過度のバックスピン掛けを防止し、ボールコント ロールを容易に行なうことができるようにしたゴルフ用クラブヘッドを提供する ことにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記した課題を解決するために、この考案は、ヘッド本体のフエース面に、こ のフエース面に対して凹面が平行する凹部を設け、この凹部に打球面板を前記フ エース面と面一に嵌合させて別体的に添設するとともに、この打球面板と前記凹 部との嵌合面間に弾性部材を介在させてなる構成としたものである。
【０００６】 また、この考案は、前記凹部の凹面をヘッド本体のフエース面に対して上方に 向け拡開傾斜させてなる構成としたものである。

【作用】
すなわち、この考案は、上記の構成を採用することにより、ヘッド本体のフエ ース面に、このフエース面に対して凹面が平行する凹部を設け、この凹部に打球 面板をフエース面と面一に嵌合させて別体的に添設するとともに、この打球面板 と凹部との嵌合面間に弾性部材を介在させてなるために、打球時に、打球面板が ボールのバックスピン掛け方向とは逆方向に弾性的に移動可能になり、これによ って、過度のバックスピン掛けが防止される。
【０００８】 また、前記凹部の凹面をヘッド本体のフエース面に対して上方に向け拡開傾斜 させてなるために、ヘッド本体のフェース面のロフト角が２０度前後の番手のク ラブでも、打球時の打球面板のバックスピン掛け方向とは逆方向の弾性移動が容 易になる。

【実施例】
以下、この考案の一実施例を図面を参照しながら詳細に説明すると、図１から 図３はこの考案に係るゴルフ用クラブヘッドの第１実施例を示すもので、図中１ はアイアンクラブのヘッド本体である。
【００１０】 そして、このヘッド本体１のフエース面２には、スィートスポットＰを中心と する打球面相当部位に凹部３が設けられ、この凹部３の凹面４は、前記フエース 面２に対して平行状態となっている。
【００１１】 また、図中５は打球面板で、例えばカーボン繊維により補強した硬化済のＣＦ ＲＰからなっているとともに、この打球面板５の表面には、地表Ｇに対してトウ ・ヒール側方向に平行に延びる複数本のスコアライン６が上下方向に適宜の間隔 を存して設けられている。
【００１２】 すなわち、前記打球面板５は、前記ヘッド本体１のフエース面２と面一となる ように前記凹部３に嵌合させて別体的に添設されているとともに、それらの嵌合 面間には、ゴム等の弾性部材７が介在され、この弾性部材７にて前記打球面板５ を弾性的に支持してなる構成を有する。
【００１３】 しかして、上記の構成によれば、ヘッド本体１のフエース面２に設けた凹部３ に、打球面板５が弾性部材７を介して弾性支持されているために、図３に示すよ うに、打球時に、ヘッド本体１のフエース面２のスィートスポットＰにてボール Ｂを打つと、ボールＢは、打球方向Ｘに対して、ヘッドフェース面２のロフト角 θに応じた打出し方向Ｙに向け打ち出される。
【００１４】 このとき、ボールＢには、スィートスポットＰでのロフト角θに応じた接触摩 擦力Ｆにより、バックスピンＳが掛かり、その作用・反作用により、弾性部材７ にて支持された打球面板５が、接触摩擦力ＦによるボールＢのバックスピン掛け 方向とは逆方向Ｚに弾性的にズレるように移動可能になり、これによって、過度 のバックスピン掛けを防止することが可能になる。
【００１５】 また、図４はこの考案に係る第２実施例を示すもので、ヘッド本体１のフェー ス面２に形成される凹部３の凹面４を、ヘッド本体フエース面２に対して上方に 向け拡開するような傾斜角度αを持たせ、これによって、ロフト角θが２０度前 後の番手のクラブでも、打球時の打球面板５のバックスピン掛け方向とは逆方向 の弾性移動が容易に行なえるような構成となっていものである。

【考案の効果】
以上の説明から明らかなように、この考案は、ヘッド本体のフエース面に、こ のフエース面に対して凹面が平行する凹部を設け、この凹部に打球面板をフエー ス面と面一に嵌合させて別体的に添設するとともに、この打球面板と凹部との嵌 合面間に弾性部材を介在させてなることから、打球時に、打球面板がボールのバ ックスピン掛け方向とは逆方向に弾性的に移動し、これによって、過度のバック スピン掛けを防止することができる。
【００１７】 また、請求項２において、前記凹部の凹面をヘッド本体のフエース面に対して 上方に向け拡開傾斜させてなるために、ヘッド本体フェース面のロフト角が２０ 度前後の番手のクラブでも、打球時の打球面板のバックスピン掛け方向とは逆方 向の弾性移動が容易になり、これによって、過度のバックスピン掛けを防止する ことができるとともに、ボールコントロールを容易に行なうことができる。

  1. 【請求項１】 ヘッド本体のフエース面に、このフエー
    ス面に対して凹面が平行する凹部を設け、この凹部に打
    球面板を前記フエース面と面一に嵌合させて別体的に添
    設するとともに、この打球面板と前記凹部との嵌合面間
    に弾性部材を介在させたことを特徴とするゴルフ用クラ
    ブヘッド。
  2. 【請求項２】 ヘッド本体のフエース面に、このフエー
    ス面に対して凹面が上方に向け拡開傾斜する凹部を設
    け、この凹部に打球面板を前記フエース面と面一に嵌合
    させて別体的に添設するとともに、この打球面板と前記
    凹部との嵌合面間に弾性部材を介在させたことを特徴と
    するゴルフ用クラブヘッド。
