Three bevel pinions 72 are arranged at positions where the circumference of the main body 60 is divided into three equal parts. By appropriately rotating the bevel pinion 72, the scroll 70 having the spirally-shaped uneven portion can be rotated. In addition, a slide portion 52 that is provided in a streak shape is provided on the side surface of the claw member 50. It is slidably fitted on the portion 62. Thereby, the claw member 50
Are guided so that they can reciprocate in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the main body 60. And the scroll 7 above
As shown in FIG. 6, 0 engages with the uneven portion provided on the back surface of the claw member 50, and the operation of the scroll 70 allows the claw member 50 to reciprocate in the direction in which the held member is held.

6 shows a case in which the held member positioned by abutting against the abutting surface 68 of the stopper portion 66 provided in FIG.
Also, description will be given based on the principle diagrams of FIGS. 8 and 9. In addition,
FIG. 8 shows a state immediately after the claw member 50 contacts the held member 1 in the conventional chuck device, and FIG. 9 shows a state in which the held member 1 is held by the conventional chuck device. The held member is held by moving the claw member 50 by rotating the scroll 70 that meshes with the uneven portion provided on the back surface of the claw member 50, but abuts the uneven portion and the held portion of the claw member 50. There is a predetermined space between the contact portion. That is, the acting position where the acting force of the scroll 70 acts on the claw member 50 is deviated from the acting position of the reaction force applied to the claw member 50 from the held member. Further, between the slide portion 52 provided on the pawl member 50 and the guide portion 62 provided on the main body portion 60, there is some play required for the pawl member 50 to be reciprocally movable.

Until the holding force A for holding the holding member 1 is obtained, the abutting portion of the abutting member 50 of the claw member 50 has the sliding portion 62 as a fulcrum, due to the reaction force −W generated in the held member 1. 6
Rotate in the direction away from 8. At this time, the frictional force μW generated by the W with which the claw member 50 presses the held member
Acts in a direction of separating the held member from the contact surface 68. Therefore, when the held member 1 is held with the predetermined holding force A by the claw member 50, the held member 1 is lifted from the corresponding contact surface 68 as shown in FIG. On the other hand, conventionally, the held member 1 which is a workpiece
The held member 1 is held at a predetermined position by hitting with a hammer to bring it into contact with the contact surface 68 of the stopper 66 which is the reference surface.

However, with this chuck device, it is difficult to reliably contact the workpiece, which is the held member, with the contact surface 68 of the stopper 66, and the workpiece chucked in this manner has a high axial dimension. It was difficult to process with the processing accuracy, and the work efficiency was poor. When the slide portion 52 of the claw member 50 is worn and the play between the slide portion 52 and the guide portion 62 is increased, the above-mentioned amount of lifting is increased and the processing accuracy of the workpiece is further reduced.

That is, in the chuck device of the present invention, the main body portion is provided with the claw member corresponding to each of the plurality of guide portions provided toward the axial center of the main body portion, and the plurality of claw members are provided in the guide portion. It is possible to reciprocate toward the shaft center of the main body by aligning it, and the plurality of claw members are interlocked so as to make substantially the same reciprocating motion, so that the held member is centered and held. A chuck device for holding a member is characterized in that the guide portion is provided at a predetermined gradient with respect to a plane orthogonal to the axis of the main body portion.

It is mounted on the guide part so that it can reciprocate. Therefore, the plurality of claw members can move along a predetermined gradient in the direction orthogonal to the axis of the main body when moving in the direction of holding the held member. Thus, the held member can be held while being forcedly brought into contact with a reference surface such as a predetermined stopper.

The contact surface 28 of the stopper portion 26 provided at the position is brought into contact with and positioned. Then, the scroll 30 is rotated by the bevel pinion to drive the plurality of claw members 10 in the direction in which the held member 1 is gripped. Since the plurality of claw members 10 are interlocked with each other by the scroll 30, the plurality of claw members 10 move in the central direction of the main body 20 so as to perform substantially the same operation and hold the held member 1 while centering it.

At this time, the slide portion 12 provided on the claw member 10 is provided by the driving force of the scroll 30 until the holding force P for holding the held member 1 is obtained after the claw member 10 contacts the held member 1. And 20 on the body
There is some play between the guides 22 provided on the. Therefore, as described above, the held member 1 is moved in the direction away from the contact surface 28 by the frictional force μW. At the same time, as shown in FIG.
It is moved so as to come into contact with the contact surface 28 by the gradient of 2. In the chuck device according to the present invention, the held member 1 is moved so as to come into contact with the contact surface 28 due to the inclination of the guide portion 22, and is separated from the contact surface 28 by friction μW. It is set to be larger than the motion that is moved. As a result, the held member 1
Is, as shown in FIG.
Thus, the stopper portion 26 is held in a state in which it is reliably brought into contact with the reference surface which is the contact surface 28 of the stopper portion 26. Therefore, according to the present embodiment, when the workpiece is gripped, the workpiece can be processed with high processing accuracy in the axial dimension.

In this chuck device, a groove-shaped guide portion 4 is provided at the tip of a connecting member 40 that is connected to a cylinder device driven by hydraulic pressure or air pressure, and is provided as a recess with a predetermined slope.
2, a convex sliding portion 16 provided on the claw member 14 with a predetermined gradient is slidably fitted. Further, similarly to the chuck device using the scroll described above, the sliding portion 15 of the claw member 14 is slidably fitted to the guide portion provided on the main body portion 25 with a predetermined inclination, whereby the claw member 14 is It is reciprocally movable along the guide portion. Therefore, when the connecting member 40 moves to the left in the drawing of FIG. 3, the sliding portion 16 is slidably fitted in the guide portion 42, so that the claw member 14 has a slope provided on the main body portion 25. By moving along the guide portion, the held member 1 can be held while being pulled leftward. With this, it is possible to obtain the same effect as that of the chuck device using the scroll.

In order to forcibly abut the reference surface provided on the guide, the slope of the guide portion can be provided in the opposite direction. For example, when the claw member contacts the inner peripheral surface of the held member to hold the held member, the held member can be appropriately brought into contact with a reference surface provided outside. Further, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 5, the top jaw, which is the contact portion of the claw member that comes into contact with the held member, is detachably provided on the master jaw and variously changed according to the held member. Of course you can. The chuck device according to the present invention can be used not only for holding a workpiece in a processing machine such as a lathe, but also for various applications for holding a held member. Although various preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments, and many modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. That is.

A main body part is provided with a claw member corresponding to each of a plurality of guide parts provided toward an axis of the main body part, and the plurality of claw members are arranged along the guide part. The plurality of claw members are reciprocally movable toward the axial center of the main body, and the plurality of claw members are interlocked to perform substantially the same reciprocating movement, thereby holding the held member while centering the held member. In the chuck device, the guide part is provided with a predetermined gradient with respect to a plane orthogonal to the axis of the main body part.
