In the case of the powder release agent, uneven spraying is likely to occur at the time of spraying, sometimes partial fusion occurs, and it is not easy to completely remove the release agent powder after bending the glass plate, and residual foreign matter remains. There are many cases where defects occur. The same applies to the case of using a suspension, but there is a problem that a step of drying after coating and spraying is required, and powder is fixed after the glass plate is bent and its removal becomes difficult.

On the other hand, if it is used as an aqueous solution, it has the advantage that it is easy to obtain a thin uniform coating film during spraying or coating, and it can be dissolved and removed by washing with water even after bending the glass, but after coating and spraying, it must be dried as described above. I have to.

Further, when the glass is applied in a horizontal posture, for example, a coarse-grained release agent or other foreign matter adhered to the ceiling often drops, and a micro-concave portion is formed in the corresponding portion of the glass plate during overlapping bending. Alternatively, there is a problem in that the distortion of the reflected image is recognized, which is called spot distortion and is treated as a defective product.

The present invention is a method of spraying hot air while spraying a release agent aqueous solution on a glass plate surface to dry and solidify it to form a release agent coating film by a plurality of spray means facing a glass plate in an upright posture. At the same time as spraying the release agent aqueous solution substantially perpendicularly to the plate surface, the spraying means is appropriately arranged between the sprays or covers the outer circumference of the spraying means, or is sprayed substantially perpendicularly to the plate surface by a plurality of spraying means arranged on the inner circumference side. In the apparatus related to the above method, hot glass is blown, and a standing stand for a glass plate, its pulling transfer means, and a glass plate transfer path are arranged, and a release agent aqueous solution is confronted with the glass plate. It comprises a plurality of spraying means for spraying substantially perpendicularly to the surface, and a plurality of spraying means arranged between the spraying means as appropriate, or covering the outer circumference of the spraying means or arranged inside the inner circumference.

The hot air is, for example, 60 heat-exchanged exhaust gas of a glass sheet heat processing furnace.
Using a heating air above ℃, by a blower not shown,
It is fed from the introduction duct 10 into the spray hole 7. The spray holes 7 are formed of, for example, punching metal 7a as shown in the side sectional view of FIG. 2 and the partial front view of FIG. 3, and the release agent solution spray nozzle 6 is appropriately provided between the punching holes, that is, the spray holes 7. , 6 and if necessary a rectifying plate 7b (shown by a broken line) shown in FIG. 2 so that the hot air can hit the glass plate 1 uniformly and substantially vertically over a wide range.

FIG. 5 is a side sectional view showing still another embodiment, in which the spray nozzle 6 for the release agent solution and the hot air blowing nozzle 7c are arranged concentrically, and the spray nozzle 6 is shown in FIG. It is arranged on the outer circumference of 7c. In addition, when the hot air is blown, for example, a mode in which a swirl flow is directed to the glass plate surface to uniformly disperse the droplets of the release agent can be optionally incorporated.

FIG. 6 is a partial side sectional view showing the relationship between the hot air blowing nozzle and the spray for release agent solution according to still another embodiment. The tip region of the spray nozzle 6 is swollen once and the tip is spread. A cherry-cylindrical tube having hot air blowing nozzles 7d arranged concentrically on the outside thereof is effective in spreading and uniformly dispersing the release agent droplets.

In each of these configurations, the sprayed release agent solution, that is, the Glauber's salt droplets are made to efficiently receive the heat of hot air, and the Glauber's droplets are made into microdroplets having a diameter of several μm to ten and several μm. As a result, the water is easily evaporated by receiving hot air, and when it adheres to the glass plate 1, it becomes a state close to the solidified powder, and at the outlet of the spray booth 5, it is a solidified film, more precisely, a coating of the solidified powder.
