てストリップの押えロールの左右幅方向高さを調整する
ことにより、常に一定の圧下量を維持することを特徴と
する幅圧下方法にかかるものであり、更に、同時に竪ロ
ールの幅圧下量を調整することを特徴とする幅圧下方法
にかかるものであり、及び、前記ルーパーに設置された
ストリップの張力を検出する張力計の信号に基づいて押
えロールのロール高さ調整機構へ左右高さ修正信号を送
る押えロール高さ制御器と、前記張力計の信号に基づい
て前記竪ロールの圧下機構へ圧下量修正信号を送る圧下
制御器とを備えたことを特徴とする幅圧下制御装置にか
