基部を固定してなる切削刃において、 刃先チップの基部が受容凹部内に嵌入される中央部と、
中央部の両側に形成され台金の厚み方向へ突出する左右
の側部と、左右両側部から少なくとも後方へ突出して台
金の側面に当接する左右のガイド部と、左右両側部のい
ずれか一方のみから下方に突出して受容凹部下方の台金
側面に当接する底ガイド部とからなり、この底ガイド部
が中央部の底面より下方に突出させられることにより、
中央部底面と、受容凹部底壁との間に生じる隙間が底ガ
イド部によって蓋された状態で、刃先チップが台金に接
着されてなることを特徴とする刃先チップを有する切削
