流体の重力を利用し自然流で冷却をおこなっており、従
って冷却しうる範囲が限定されているので仕込装置の必
要な個所まで充分に冷却しうる構造ではなく、また流体
の受水、排水の樋が開放構造とせざるを得ないことか
ら、炉内ダストが配管中に堆積する等の問題点を有して
いる。

も適宜選択できるので冷却効率も向上する。

って下部シュート3は炉内の任意の位置に原料が装入さ
れる。4は旋回円板であり、シュート構造と一体となっ
て旋回するようになっている。

されることはなく、給水圧も適宜選択できるので、被冷
却体の細部まで強制的に冷却できることから、冷却効果
は向上し、また密閉構造としているのでダスト等の堆積
を防止することができ、設備保全の手数を省くことがで
きる。
