ンダ列に、吸気カム軸と排気カム軸とを各別に設け、こ
れらカム軸に設けたカム歯車とクランク軸に設けた調時
歯車との間に巻掛け伝動手段を巻回し、その巻掛け伝動
手段を排気カム軸と吸気カム軸とのカム歯車の間を通し
て内側へ引き込むと共に、これと支持腕に設けた補助プ
ーリに巻回し、この支持腕をエンジン本体に揺動自在に
支持し、これを運転状態に応じて揺動させる揺動手段に

の作動手段24によつて両シリンダ列の弁開閉時期を調節
