穴と、もう一方の部材に対し二個以上の位置決め突起と
一個以上の穴を設けるのはスペース上容易ではなかっ
た。また、部材どうしの位置決め精度を高めるには、位
置決め突起と位置決め穴の寸法精度と、これらの間隔精
度を向上させる必要があるが、組立時の作業性や寸法の
バラツキを考慮しなければならないので、設計上僅かな
すき間を設けなければならず、位置決め精度の向上に限
界があった。また、これらの部材が板金プレス加工によ
る場合、突起や穴といった異なるプレス行程となる多数
の位置決め固定用の箇所が必要となるので、その金型で
あれば、金型の個数が増えることになり、コストも高く
