In a conventional swivel chair, a supporting shaft is rotatably hung on a shaft cylinder standing on a pedestal, and a seat is fixed to the upper end of the supporting shaft, or a supporting shaft is rotatably hung on the shaft cylinder. A seat portion is rotatably connected to the upper end of the support shaft, and when the seated person separates from the seat portion, the seat portion is rotated to move the seated person's foot laterally from a foot-resting space such as a desk. Although it stands up in a state where the chair is raised to the side, the seat keeps its sideward state, so especially in a conference room where many chairs are arranged in an orderly manner, the backrest of the chair is in a direction messy with respect to the desk etc. It was a cause of poor orientation and appearance. On the other hand, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-51367, a cam cylinder having a slanted surface on the upper surface of which a spindle is rotatably mounted in a shaft cylinder which is erected on a pedestal is installed. Attached to the support shaft so that it cannot rotate and can slide up and down,
A chair that elastically urges a cam cylinder with a coil spring in a direction in which the slanted surface is pressed against a trochanter laterally provided in the shaft cylinder, and reciprocally restores the support shaft to the initial state by the repulsive force of the spring, is provided. However, the structure of the mechanism that makes the cam cylinder non-rotatable and vertically slidable around the support shaft is complicated, and precision is required to achieve smooth restoration. While maintaining the compressed state of the spring, the trochanter must be installed in the barrel, which requires a lot of work.

In view of the above-mentioned situation, the present invention is to solve the problem that the coil spring absorbs the impact at the time of seating, and even if the seat is left at any rotation angle, it automatically moves in a preset direction by its own weight. Despite the fact that it can be smoothly restored, when it sits down and rotates the seat, it hardly feels the restoring force, has an operating form similar to a general chair, and is a swivel chair that is easy to assemble. Is in the point of providing.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention attaches a support shaft, which continuously connects a seat portion to its upper end, to a shaft cylinder hung on a floor or a leg stand so as to be rotatable and movable up and down, and at the lower end of the support shaft. The slanted surface formed on the upper part of the slide body, which is vertically movably installed inside the shaft cylinder and whose lower part is supported by a coil spring, is rotatably laterally arranged to one side in the radial direction. It is placed on the circumferential side surface of the child, and the coil spring is mounted in a non-compressed state between the slide body and the bottom plate fixed in the shaft cylinder, and the seat portion is restored by rotation only by its own weight. I constructed a swivel chair.

The swivel chair of the present invention having the above contents is a slide body in which the slanted surface formed at the lower end of the support shaft by the weight of the support shaft and the seat portion is housed inside the shaft cylinder and the lower part is supported by the coil spring. It rotates while abutting on the circumferential side surface of the rotator laterally rotatably installed on the upper part of the rotor, and the spindle is stable at the lowest position, that is, in the state where the potential energy is the minimum. By rotating the shaft and the support shaft, the slanted surface abuts and rotates with the circumferential side surface of the trochanter to push up the support shaft and become an unstable state with higher potential energy. For example, the initial state is automatically restored by rotation due to its own weight. Since the coil spring is mounted in a non-compressed state between the slide body and the bottom plate fixed in the shaft cylinder, the coil spring is not used to restore the rotation of the seat and the support shaft when the seat is not seated. It does not contribute at all.

Then, the trochanter is provided laterally on a slide body supported downward by a coil spring, and the coil spring is set so as not to be compressed except for its own weight such as a seat portion when not seated. The rotation of the rotor due to its own weight is extremely smooth due to the trochanter and the slanted surface, and the coil spring prevents the rotor from being damaged by absorbing the impact of seating with the coil spring. It is only necessary to insert the spring, the slide body and the support shaft in order.

Then, if the support shaft 4 shown by the chain line in FIG. 2 is rotated from the starting state in which it is located at the lowermost position and left in an unstable state at the upper position shown by the solid line, the seat portion 3 and the support are supported. The slanted surface 5 contacts the circumferential side surface 7 of the trochanter 6 due to the weight of the shaft 4, and the rotator itself rotates while rotating the trochanter 6, so that the support shaft 4 is at the lowest position in a stable state. Restore state. Also,
By forcibly rotating the seat portion 3, the trochanter 6 rotates in accordance with the rotation of the slanted surface 5 of the support shaft 4, and the support shaft 4 and the seat portion 3 move upward against gravity. The state shown by the solid line in FIG. 2 is obtained. In that state, if the rotational force applied to the seat portion 3 from the outside is removed and the state is left as it is, it is restored to the initial state by its own weight.

Further, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, the shaft cylinder 2 is divided into two, a lower shaft cylinder 2'is erected on the leg stand 1, and an upper shaft cylinder 2 "in which the spindle is installed is installed. Is detachably connected to the lower shaft cylinder ′ so that the support body 12 can be moved up and down in the upper shaft cylinder 2 ″, and an elastic coil spring 17 is provided from below.
It was supported by. More specifically, the support 12
Guide rods 18, 18 are hung and fixed on both sides of the lower surface of the slide body 19
As shown in FIG. 3, the guide rods 18, 18 are non-rotatable and vertically slidable in the guide holes 21, 21 opened at both end portions of the bottom plate 20 fixed to the lower end of the upper shaft cylinder 2 ″. The coil spring 17 between the bottom plate 20 and the support body 12 of the slide body 19 in a non-compressed state. The coil spring 17 absorbs the impact of the inclined surface 5 on the trochanter 6 when it is seated, and elastically supports the weight of the seated person.
When the coil spring 17 is in an unloaded state, that is, when the seat 3 is not seated and no weight other than the seat portion 3 and the support shaft 4 is applied,
Even when the seat portion 3 rotates and the support shaft 4 rises and the center of gravity thereof becomes the highest and becomes unstable, the expanded diameter step portion 11 of the support shaft 4 does not have the engagement step portion.
Dimensions such as the length of the coil spring 17 are set so that the coil spring 17 is not pressed against. In this case, the seat portion 3 and the support shaft 4 are automatically rotated and restored only by their own weight, and at this time, the coil spring 17
Since the support shaft 4 is not pressed against the upper bearing 8 by this, smooth rotation can be performed without using a thrust bearing or the like.

Further, in another embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the support 12 is elongated in the vertical direction so that the support 12 can move up and down without rattling. And a coil spring 17 is mounted between a bottom plate 20 fixed to the lower end of the upper shaft cylinder 2 ″, and further, the trochanter 6 has the support 12 with the circumferential side surface 7 inclined slightly inward. In addition to rotatably obliquely arranging, at the lower end of the support shaft 4, instead of the cylindrical inclined surface 5, the inclined surface 5 is simply cut to form the inclined surface 5. It has a restoring effect. In this embodiment, the support shaft 4 is formed in a simple columnar shape,
A retaining ring 23 is attached to the lower end of the support shaft 4 protruding downward from the upper bearing 8. In this embodiment,
The shape is made as simple as possible to facilitate the manufacture and the assembly is easy.

According to the swivel chair of the present invention as described above, a slanted surface is formed at the lower end of a rotatable and vertically movable support shaft, and a trochanter for supporting the slanted surface on the circumferential side surface is provided. Since it is installed inside the cylinder so that it can move up and down, and the lower part is horizontally installed at the upper part of the slide body that is supported by the coil spring, and is rotatably moved toward one side in the radial direction, The slanted surface provided on the lower end of the support shaft eccentrically presses the rotator to rotate the support shaft, and the support shaft itself also rotates to rotate the support shaft to a stable starting state in which the support shaft is located at the lowest position. Stationary,
If the seat and the support shaft are rotated from this starting state, the trochanter rotates with the rotation of the slanted surface, and if left in an unstable state where the supporting shaft is raised, only the starting state self-weight acts. It can be automatically rotated and restored, and when it is seated and used, its rotation restoring force is not so large that its direction can be freely changed like a normal swivel chair, and when the seated person leaves the chair. In addition, it is not necessary to rotate the seat to return to the original state each time, and in particular, when a large number of chairs are arranged, it is possible to always keep the chair tidy.

Furthermore, by mounting the trochanter up and down on a slide body that is supported downward by a coil spring, it is possible to absorb the impact at the time of sitting and to prevent excessive impact from being applied to the trochanter. It can prevent damage. In addition, since the coil spring is mounted in a non-compressed state between the slide body and the bottom plate fixed in the shaft cylinder, that is, the support shaft is not compressed by the upper bearing, and therefore the rotational friction resistance of the support shaft. Therefore, the automatic rotation restoration by only the own weight of the seat portion is extremely smooth even without using a thrust bearing or the like.

Further, when assembling, since the coil spring is not compressed, after inserting the coil spring into the shaft cylinder, the slide body having the trochanter horizontally installed is dropped into the shaft cylinder to support the lower part by the coil spring, Furthermore, this can be easily done by simply dropping the support shaft that has previously been inserted with the upper bearing from above.
