Abstract

PURPOSE:To assure the regenerated ink by utilizing the waste washing liquid of a printing unit generated at the time of color changing and ending of printing at the time of printing and to attain pollution prevention, cost reduction, resource saving, etc., by classifying and recovering the waste washing liquid of a printing unit to plural hue classifying and recovering tanks. CONSTITUTION:The regenerated ink is obtd. by utilizing the waste washing liquid of the printing unit generated at the time of color changing and ending of printing at the time of printing. namely, the waste washing liquid for he printing unit is classified and recovered in plural hue classifying and recovering tanks. The waste washing liquid is recycled by using a solvent having the same compsn. as the compsn. of the solvent of the ink for the printing unit as the detergent of the printing unit. Further, the regenerated ink is obtd. by utilizing the waste liquid generated by washing of the printing unit and the ink for correction. For example, the many waste washing liquid recovering tanks 12 are installed for the printing unit of the first color below a waste liquid receiving tray 11 of the printing machine and valves 13 interposed with inflow pipes 15 of the respective recovering tanks 12 are successively opened.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, ink cleaning waste liquid is treated as industrial waste. Ink waste liquid containing a burning organic solvent as the main solvent of the ink vehicle is incinerated, and the waste liquid of water-based ink containing non-burnable water as a main component is filtered once after the waste water treatment, and is treated as treated water and sludge. Be separated. In either case, the cleaning waste liquid of the printing unit produces burnable dust and non-burnable dust, which are handled by a professional processor, but they are time-consuming, costly, and cause pollution. .

Regarding the conventional treatment of the printing ink waste liquid as described above, the inventors of the present application said, "Washing when printing using glycols and water as the solvent of the ink vehicle. Completed an invention related to “collection and reuse of waste liquid” and applied for a patent (1993 patent application No. 96994)
In this case as well, in this case, as in the printing unit of a conventional printing machine, the cleaning waste liquid flows into one waste liquid storage tank, so various colors are mixed and the waste liquid becomes blackish. It is usually colored dark brown. Therefore, it is impossible to obtain clear colors such as red, yellow, grass, and ultramarine blue from the cleaning waste liquid when there is only one waste liquid receiving tank as in the conventional case.

Further, since the conventional cleaning of the printing machine is intended only for cleaning the printing machine, only the solubility of the residue in the cleaning solvent and the cleaning cost are measured, and the recovery and reuse of the waste liquid is considered. Was not done. The present invention has been completed with the object of solving the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional cleaning method, and effectively utilizing the cleaning waste liquid to treat the waste liquid and prevent pollution.

The inventors of the present application installed a plurality of waste liquid storage tanks at the bottom of each printing unit in order to prevent mixing of the colors of the cleaning waste liquids. Has invented a method of switching and inflowing the cleaning waste liquid according to the hue. If the number of waste liquid storage tanks is increased, it is possible to obtain a waste liquid close to a single color. However, if too many waste liquid storage tanks are used, the mechanism becomes complicated. Therefore, it is desirable to install 2 to 6 tanks per printing unit. The hue used for printing ink is usually about 18 to 52 colors, but when special colors are added, it may exceed 100 colors, and the number of hues cannot be unconditionally limited. However, the basic color of the base ink is several colors, and even if the intermediate color base ink is added, it is limited to within 20 colors. As an example, if you roughly classify this, red, orange, yellow, grass, Asagi, ultramarine, indigo, navy blue, purple, brown, white
For example, black.

On the other hand, there are few monochromatic printers as printing machines, and most of the machines are 2 to 6 color printers, but of these, 2 color printers are most often used. It is normal for each printing unit to use the same color as possible. For example, in the case of a two-color machine,
The first color is red, orange, yellow, the second color is onion, ultramarine, indigo,
Indigo blue, black, etc. In the present invention, a plurality of waste liquid storage tanks are installed for each printing unit. For example, when five storage tanks are installed in each printing unit of a two-color machine, the cleaning waste liquid is stored as follows.

The first tank of the first color is red, the second tank is orange,
3 tanks are yellow, 4 tanks are grass, 5 tanks are other colors, 2 tanks of 1st color are green onion, 2 tanks are ultramarine blue, 3 tanks are dark blue, 4 tanks are purple, 5 tanks are Black and other colors. Of course, waste liquid of multiple colors of each color system flows into each storage tank, but because the number of dyes used in the base ink is limited, a practical hue from the waste liquid of the same system is used. It becomes possible to recycle the ink.

In addition, since the conventional cleaning of the printing unit does not consider the reuse of the waste liquid, only the cost and workability of the cleaning agent have been considered. However, the cleaning agent used in the present invention is The waste liquid can be reused by using a solvent having the same composition as the solvent of the ink vehicle used in the printing unit.

In order to obtain a recycled ink, a waste liquid and a correction ink are generally used. The correction ink is an ink in which the solvent component of the ink vehicle of the ink used in the printing unit is reduced. It is effective that the amount of solvent component is decreased as much as possible because the mixing ratio of the waste liquid can be increased, but if it is decreased too much, the fluidity of the ink deteriorates.

In the case of an ink in which a large amount of solvent for exclusive use of ink is mixed from the beginning, the waste liquid can be replaced with a special solvent without using the correction ink. This method can also be used for offset printing and gravure printing. Next, the invention of the present application will be described with reference to an example using a special glycol type ink and a flexo dichroic machine, but the invention of the present application is not limited to this example.

After printing, the ink remaining between the two rolls was collected by suction, and then about 200 g of an ink cleaning agent having a ratio of ethylene glycol to water of 30:30 was added to the printing machine to about 30. After spinning for 2 seconds, a doctor blade was applied to the anilox roll to scrape the mixed liquid of ink and cleaning agent (ink cleaning waste liquid) adhering to the roll to wash the two rolls. . The cleaning waste liquid generated in this case flowed into the recovery tank 1 through the tray installed at the lower part of the doctor blade.
