Ribs 6a and 6b of about 2 to 5 mm are formed on the tray surface. However, when the tray mounting angle θ becomes large, there is a problem that the above-mentioned ribs alone push out the already ejected originals from the trays and drop them.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which 1 is, for example, an image reading apparatus main body, 2 is a paper ejection tray, 3 is a paper ejection tray at a central portion in the width direction of the paper ejection tray 2. It is a protruding portion arranged along the traveling direction. As shown in FIG. 2, the protrusion 3 gradually rises from the vicinity of the paper discharge port 1a and is about the length of the smallest size of paper that can be passed (L 1 : actually, the minimum document length 105 mm. In contrast, it has an inclined part 3a that reaches a height (L 2 ) of 5 mm or more from the tray reference surface 2a at a distance of about 100 mm), and thereafter maintains a substantially constant height, The cross section is mountain-shaped. In this embodiment, the third
As shown in the figure, L 2 is 12 mm and the radius of curvature R of the peak is 25 mm.

保たれる。In this embodiment having such a configuration, the contact load between the already ejected original document and the next ejected original document is reduced due to the mountain-shaped protrusion 3 formed in the central portion of the tray 2. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the already ejected original document from being pushed out by the later ejected original document and falling from the tray. Further, since the inclined portion 3a having an appropriate length is provided near the discharge port, the order of the discharged documents can be surely maintained.

という不具合が生じる。If L 1 is close to 0 mm, the number of documents that can be ejected will decrease because the ejection port has a protruding portion.
Even if L 1 = 50, as shown in FIG.
The document is bent into a letter shape, and the document to be ejected next enters the lower side of the document previously ejected, resulting in a disorder in the order.

る。(Effect of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, the contact load between sequentially ejected documents can be reduced due to the mountain-shaped protrusion formed in the center of the tray. Thus, there is no effect that a document that has already been discharged will not be pushed out and dropped from the tray, and the order can be protected and correct stacking can be achieved.
