も、平編み状の場合には相互の圧接により、各ゴム材１
・・・,2・・・は簡単に抜けることはないが、抜け防止
のため、ゴム表面に凹凸などの滑り止め加工を施した
り、あるいは図示のように被覆材3,4の縁部に当該縁部
に対して一種の鍔となる突起状のストッパ７・・・など
を設けるとよい。 また、上記被覆材3,4の接合部５・・・にあっては、縫
い付け接合などでもよいが、被覆材3,4の材質（合成樹
脂繊維などの場合）によっては、ウエルダー接合（加熱
接合）処理によると、極めて能率的な接合が可能であ
る。 次に、このようにしてなる本考案の荷固定用マットの使
用例を示すと、第３図〜第４図の如くである。 第３図の場合は、車両11の屋根上のルーフキャリア12に
積んだ長尺物の荷13に対して、本考案の荷固定用マット
を被せ、引掛け用フック６・・・をルーフキャリア12の
構造材などに引っ掛けた場合である。このとき、この荷
固定用マットは荷13の表面形状によく適合して被せられ
るため、極めて安定した固定が得られる。また、マット
の装着も、ゴム材１・・・,2・・・を適宜伸ばして上記
引掛け用フック６・・・を所望の部位に引っ掛けるのみ
でよく、楽に行える。 第４図の場合は、ルーフキャリア上やトランクルーム内
などに置かれた、比較的小さな雑多な多数の荷13・・・
を一度に固定する場合で、基本的には、一枚の本考案の
荷固定用マットを上から被せるのみでよいが、荷13・・
・の置かれた部分が滑る恐れがある場合には、この滑り
を抑えるため、下にも本考案の荷固定用マットを敷くと
よい。この場合も、特に、上側の荷固定用マットは荷13
・・・の大小や形状にかかわらず、すべての荷13・・・
の表面形状によく適合して被せられるため、極めて安定
した固定が得られる。もちろん、マットの装着も第３図
の場合と同様簡単に行える。 第５図は本考案に係る荷固定用マットの他の実施例を示
したもので、ゴム材1a・・・,2a・・・が環（輪）状に
形成されている他は、上記第１図〜第２図のものと同様
である。 ゴム材1a・・・,2a・・・を環状とすることにより、ゴ
ム材の抜けが根本的に解消され、また、ゴム伸長時のよ
り均等な圧着力が得られる利点がある。 なお、上記実施例では、ゴム材の先端に引掛け用フック
６・・・を設けた場合であったが、ゴム材の被覆材3,4
からの露出（延出）長さを十分に取れば、この延出部分
を所望の部位に直接結び付けることもできるため、フッ
ク６・・・は省略することも可能である。特に、環状の
ゴム材の場合、このゴム環自体を直接車両側のフックな
どに引っ掛けることもできる。 また、第４図において、小さな雑多な多数の荷を一度に
固定する場合として、２枚のマットを使用する例を挙げ
たが、本考案では、このようなときに対応するため、例
えば一方向に長い形状のマットを提供し、これを折り返

定される。 また、本マットは、１枚の使用のみでなく、荷の種類に
よっては、２枚のマットを被覆用と下敷用などとして用
いたり、あるいは１枚のマットを二つ折りにして使用す
るなど、バラエテーに富んだ使用が可能である。 （２）．また、２方向のゴム材は交差部をフリーの状態
として、例えば単に平編み状にクロスさせるのみである
ため、安価な製造コストで済む。 従来の通常の固定用ネットにあっては、２方向の紐材の
交差部を結び付けなどしているため、加工が面倒であっ
た。 （３）．また、上下２枚の被覆材の接合にあっても、部
分的な接合のみでよく、やはり安価な製造コストで済
む。特に、被覆材が合成繊維材料を用いる場合には、ウ
エルダー接合処理が可能で、大幅なコストダウンが期待
