Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 固定体と可動体との間の電気的接続をフラッ
トケーブルを利用して行うケーブルリールに於て、ケー
スやギアーのすりあわせ部分での摺動音を防止すること
を目的とする。 【構成】 ケースやギアーのすりあわせ部分３，４に常
温での基油粘度が５００ｃｓｔ以上で、離油度が３％以
下のグリースを塗布したことを特徴とする。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、固定体と可動体との間
の電気的接続をフラットケーブルを利用して行うケーブ
ルリールに関するもので、特に自動車のステアリング装
置に用いるのに適したケーブルリールに関するものであ
る。

【従来の技術】たとえば、自動車のハンドル側と車体側
との間で信号伝送を行う場合、図１，図２のような装置
が用いられている。すなわち、内筒と外筒とを備えたハ
ウジング内にゼンマイ状にテープ電線を収納し、テープ
電線の巻き締まり、巻きゆるみによってハンドルの回転
を吸収するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ケーブルリールには内
筒と外筒のケースや、ギヤー部にすりあわせ部分があ
り、回転させる毎に摺動音が発生するという問題があ
る。すりあわせ部分に鉱物系のグリースを塗布すれば、
その異音を一時的に防止することが出来るが、長つづき
しなかった。

【課題を解決するための手段】ケースやギヤーのすりあ
わせ部分に常温での基油粘度が高く、高温での離油度の
低いグリースを塗布しておくことにより異音を防止する
ことが出来、かつその効果が実用上問題ない程度になが
もちすることがわかった。この目的に適したグリースと
しては純フッソ系、シリコン系フルオロシリコン系など
で、基油粘度が５００ｃｓｔ以上で、離油度（１５０℃
／２４ｈｒ）が３％以下のものがよい。

【実施例】ケースやギヤーのすりあわせ部分にクライト
ックスＧＰＬ２０５（デュポン社製）、Ｇ−３０Ｈ（信
越シリコン社製）ＳＧ３４５１（東芝シリコン社製）を
塗布したケーブルリールはケーブルリールを１０５℃に
５００時間放置した後も回転による摺動音が発生しなか
った。

【発明の効果】実施例で述べたグリース、クライトック
スＧＰＬ２０５、Ｇ３０Ｈ、ＳＧ３４５１はいずれも基
油粘度が５００ｃｓｔ以上で、離油度が３％以下であ
り、これを塗布しておくことにより、すりあわせ部分で
の摺動音の防止効果がながもちし、ケーブルリールの実
用価値を高める効果が顕著である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 固定体と可動体との間の電気的接続をフ
    ラットケーブルを利用して行うケーブルリールに於て、
    ケース、ギア等のすりあわせ部分に常温での基油粘度が
    高く、高温での離油度の低いグリースを塗布したことを
    特徴とするケーブルリール。
  2. 【請求項２】 ケース、ギア等のすりあわせ部分に塗布
    するグリースが純フッソ系、シリコン系又はフルオロシ
    リコン系であることを特徴とする請求項１に記載のケー
    ブルリール。
  3. 【請求項３】 ケース、ギア等のすりあわせ部分に塗布
    するグリースの常温での基油粘度が５００ｃｓｔ以上
    で、高温での離油度が３％以下であることを特徴とする
    請求項１に記載のケーブルリール。
