Here, when the bills are conveyed along the conveyance path, if the bills are slanted, there arises inconveniences such as jamming and non-discrimination. Such skewing of banknotes occurs most frequently in the first few banknotes carried out from the hopper. Therefore, when the banknotes are put into the hopper and carried out, first, in order to stabilize the posture thereof, the auxiliary feed roller is operated in a state where the carry-out port is closed by the shutter to operate the banknotes. It has been conventionally used that the banknotes are straightly discharged by pressing the shutters against the shutter so that their ends are aligned and then the shutters are opened.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By adopting the above-mentioned configuration, the end portions of the bills carried out from the hopper are aligned, which is effective in preventing skew feeding, but there is still no problem. Do not mean. That is, in recent years, there has been a tendency to improve the processing capacity of a device that performs processing such as bill counting and discrimination, so that it is possible to count and discriminate a large number of bills with one operation. Things are being developed. In such a device with high processing capacity, since a large load is applied to the lowermost banknote, when the auxiliary feed roller is rotated with the outlet closed by the shutter, the lowermost banknote is pressed against the shutter. The force may become so great that the bill may be compressed and wrinkled or bent.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention has a hopper for accommodating sheets in a stacked state, and separates the sheets one by one from the lower side of the hopper. In order to carry out sequentially from the carry-out port, a separation roller and a pressing roller are provided at the carry-out port, and the lowermost paper sheet is intermittently slid to feed the lowermost paper sheet toward the separation roller. An auxiliary feed roller having a contacting intermittent sliding contact portion is provided, and in order to adjust the posture of the paper sheet in the hopper, an operating position for closing the carry-out port and a displacement below this operating position are performed. A sheet which is disposed at a retracted position for opening the carry-out port and which is arranged at a position close to the auxiliary feed roller and which is the lowermost layer of the intermittent sliding portion of the auxiliary feed roller. The hopper to a height position that does not impair sliding on the hopper Load supporting means displaceable between an operating position for lifting a paper sheet therein and a retracted position displaced downward from the hopper, and the load supporting means and the shutter are interlocked substantially at the same time and the operating position and the retracted position. It is characterized in that the load supporting means and the driving means for pushing and pulling the shutter are provided so as to be displaced between them.

[Operation] The shutter and the load bearing means are arranged in the operating position by the driving means, and the auxiliary feed roller is rotated. As a result, the intermittent sliding contact portion of the auxiliary feed roller intermittently comes into sliding contact with the lowermost paper sheet of the paper sheets in the hopper and pushes the paper sheet in the feeding direction. However, since the shutter is in the operating state and the carry-out port is closed, the paper sheet comes into contact with the shutter and its posture is controlled. Here, since the paper sheets in the hopper are supported by the load supporting means, even if the number of paper sheets loaded into the hopper is large, the auxiliary feed roller presses more than necessary force against the lowermost paper sheet. Does not act, the lowermost paper sheet is strongly pressed against the shutter, and the banknote is not compressed and wrinkled or bent. Therefore, after aligning the paper sheets,
When the shutter and the load bearing means are moved to the retracted position by the driving means, the carry-out port is opened, and the auxiliary feed roller sends the sheet to the position where it can be seen through the carry-out port.
It is sandwiched between the separation roller and the pressing roller and is carried out from the hopper. However, since the attitude of the edge of this paper sheet is controlled, the paper sheet is sent straight to the conveyance path and conveyed. The conditions are extremely good.

The banknotes 2 are carried out so that the longitudinal portions thereof are oriented in the traveling direction, and the carry-out port 4 for carrying out the banknotes 2 separates the banknotes 2 one by one and carries them out. A pressing roller 6 is arranged so as to face the separating roller 5 and the separating roller 5. Here, the separation roller 5
Of the outer peripheral surface, an angle of approximately 90 ° serves as the feeding portion 5a capable of feeding the bill 2, and the further portion is formed smooth, and the smooth portion faces the pressing roller 6. The idle portion 5b does not generate a feeding force for the banknotes 2 when it is in the middle. In order to smoothly separate and carry out the bill 2 by the separating roller 5, the auxiliary feed roller 7 provided with the bulging portion 7a forming the intermittent sliding contact portion faces the bottom plate 1a of the hopper 1. By rotating the auxiliary feed roller 7, the bulging portion 7a is intermittently brought into sliding contact with the lowermost banknote 2 and pushed out toward the carry-out port 4.

Further, reference numerals 20 and 20 denote load bearing plates arranged side by side with the auxiliary feed roller 7 at a predetermined interval, respectively.
The shaft 21 is connected to the lower end portion of the shutter 21, and the shaft 21 is connected to the horizontal plate portion 10 a of the shutter 10.
Therefore, the load bearing plate 20 is made to swing together with the shutter 10 about the shaft 11, and when the shutter 10 closes the carry-out port 4, the load bearing plate 20 is swung.
The tip of 20 can be seen above the bottom plate 1a of the hopper 1 to lift the banknote 2. Therefore, the solenoid 14 also serves as a drive means for the load bearing plate 20, and by the push-pull operation by the solenoid 14,
The load bearing plate 20 and the shutter 10 are displaced substantially simultaneously at the same time in the operating position and the retracted position.

Although the height position of the tip of the load bearing plate 20 varies depending on the positional relationship with the auxiliary feed roller 7 and the like, as shown in FIG. 3, even when the bill 2 is lifted, the auxiliary feed roller 7 expands. The output portion 7a can be brought into sliding contact with the lowermost banknote. Therefore, the position where the banknote 2 of the load bearing plate 20 is lifted is the operating position, and the position displaced downward from the hopper 1 is the retracted position. As described above, since the load bearing plate 20 moves with a predetermined stroke, the load bearing plate 20 is formed with the long groove 22, and the long groove 22 is formed in the long groove 22. Is inserted so that it does not interfere with the movement of the load bearing plate 20.

As a result, when the load supporting plate 20 is held at the operating position and the load of the banknotes 2 accumulated in the hopper 1 is supported and the auxiliary feed roller 7 is rotated, the bulging portion 7a of the auxiliary feed roller 7 is rotated. Is configured so that it can contact the lowermost banknote 2 and send the banknote 2 toward the carry-out port 4.

First, the solenoid 14 is demagnetized, and the action of the spring 12 causes the operating portion 10b of the shutter 10 to face the carry-out port 4 of the hopper 1 and hold the carry-out port 4 in the operating position. At this time, the load bearing plate 20 is in the operating position facing the upper part of the lower plate 1a of the hopper 1. Therefore,
The banknotes 2 are inserted into the hopper 1 so that a large number of banknotes 2 are stacked with their ends aligned.

When the transport path 3, the separation roller 4, and the auxiliary feed roller 7 are rotated in this state, the auxiliary feed roller 7 sends the lowermost banknote 2 to the outlet 4. However, since the shutter 10 is closed, the bill 2
Is regulated by the shutter 10 and its end face portion is the exit port 4
Then, the posture is adjusted so that the bill 2 is oriented straight. After that, the solenoid 14 is operated to displace the shutter 10 to the retracted position to open the carry-out port 4. At this time, the load bearing plate 20 is simultaneously displaced to the retracted position. As a result, the lowermost banknote 2 is ejected by the auxiliary feed roller 7 to the carry-out port 4.
Is fed between the separating roller 5 and the pressing roller 6. When the feeding portion 5a of the separating roller 5 engages with the bill 2, the bill 2 is sandwiched between the separating roller 5 and the pressing roller 6 and is fed to the transport path 3.

At this time, the next banknote 2 moves to the carry-out port 3, but since the next banknote 2 is in contact with the idle portion 5b of the separation roller 5, the banknote 2 is not sent to the transport path 3. Therefore, the banknotes 2 are separated one by one and sent to the transport path 3 while maintaining a predetermined interval.

Here, when a large number of banknotes 2 are stacked in the hopper 1, the banknotes become heavy, and when the auxiliary feed roller 7 is operated in that state, an extremely strong force acts on the banknote 2 in the lowermost layer. However, in the present invention, a load bearing plate 20 is provided in order to prevent the total weight of the accumulated banknotes from directly acting on the auxiliary feeding roller 7, and the load bearing plate 20 is provided to the auxiliary feeding roller 7. Since it is in contact with the lower part of the stacked banknotes in the vicinity of the arrangement position, the pressure contact force between the lowermost banknote and the auxiliary feed roller 7 becomes small, and the auxiliary feed roller 7 actuates 10b of the shutter 10 for the banknote. It is possible to prevent the pressing force on the banknote from being weakened and causing the banknote to bend, wrinkle, or the like.

When the solenoid 14 is actuated and the shutter 10 is opened, the load bearing plate 20 is also interlocked with this and displaced in the direction of retreating to the bottom of the bottom 1a of the hopper 1. Therefore, when the delivery of the bill to the transport path 3 is started,
The load bearing plate 20 no longer contacts the banknotes, and the banknotes 2 in the hopper 1 are sequentially sent to the transport path 3 until the final one, and predetermined processing such as counting and discrimination is performed.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention provides the load bearing means for contacting the positions near both ends of the lowermost paper sheets stacked in the hopper to support the load of the shutter for opening and closing the carry-out port. Since it is configured to be displaced substantially simultaneously with the displacement between the operating position and the retracted position, the displacement between the operating position for lifting the paper sheet to a predetermined height and the retracted position for retracting outside the hopper, When performing the posture control of the paper sheet with the shutter closed, it is possible to reliably prevent wrinkles and bends due to the bottommost paper sheet coming into contact with the shutter with an excessive force. In addition, since the load bearing means and the shutter are displaced in association with each other by the pushing / pulling operation of the driving means, the stability of the operation of these members can be obtained, and the structure of the sheet separating / conveying device can be improved. Effects such as simplification Play.

1. A hopper for accommodating paper sheets in a stacked state, and a separation roller at the carry-out port for separating the paper sheets one by one from below the hopper and sequentially carrying them out from the carry-out port. A pressing roller is provided, and an auxiliary feeding roller having an intermittent sliding contact portion intermittently slidingly contacting the lowermost paper sheet is provided in order to feed the lowermost paper sheet toward the separation roller. In order to adjust the posture of the paper sheet in the hopper, a shutter is provided that is displaceable between an operating position that closes the carry-out port and a retracted position that is displaced below this operating position and that opens the carry-out port. In the device, the sheet in the hopper is placed at a position close to the auxiliary feed roller to a height position where the sliding of the intermittent sliding portion of the auxiliary feed roller to the lowermost sheet is not impaired. Working position to lift,
These load supporting means are displaceable to a retracted position displaced downward from the hopper, and the load supporting means and the shutter are interlocked and substantially simultaneously displaced between the operating position and the retracted position. A paper sheet separating / conveying device comprising a supporting means and a driving means for pushing and pulling a shutter.
