There is known a structure in which a composite sheet provided with a water-absorbent non-woven fabric layer is formed and a plurality of storage recesses that match the shape of a storage object are provided. In this storage tray, the water-absorbent nonwoven fabric layer is slightly raised above the waterproof resin layer surface in each storage recess, and a space is formed between the two layers.

とにある。The known storage tray has a function of absorbing water droplets adhering to an object to be stored by a surface layer made of a water-absorbent nonwoven fabric and protecting the object to be stored from water droplets, but the surface layer of the nonwoven fabric itself is poor in spreadability. Therefore, the base layer and the surface layer are in close contact with each other, especially in the shoulder portion that separates the storage recesses, and the cushioning property is lacking. Therefore, the object of the present invention is not only to exhibit the water-absorbing function inherent in the surface layer, but also to increase the elasticity of the surface layer itself, and in particular to give a cushioning property also to the shoulder part partitioning the storage recesses. It is to provide an improved storage tray.

The tray body 1 is made of a composite sheet in which a polyurethane foam layer 3 having an open cell structure serving as a surface layer is bonded onto a waterproof resin layer 2 which is a base material layer, and is formed by, for example, a plug assist vacuum forming method. At the time of molding, a plurality of storage recesses 4 for storing fruits, eggs, etc. are provided. In these storage recesses 4, the polyurethane foam layer 3 is slightly raised above the waterproof resin layer 2 by adjusting the height of the plug during molding, and a space 5 is formed between the two layers to form a storage tray. To form the present storage tray, it is possible to use a composite sheet having a three-layer structure in which an adhesive layer 6 is provided between the waterproof resin layer 2 and the polyurethane foam layer 3 as shown in FIG. Further, in order to manufacture the present storage tray, a composite sheet obtained by laminating a polyurethane foam sheet on a waterproof resin sheet is softened, and a gap at the time of fitting and joining is 4 to 20 mm, preferably 5 to 15 mm. By using both molds, the composite sheet in a softened state is plug-assisted from the polyurethane foam sheet side, while the vacuum is drawn from the waterproof resin sheet side. In this plug-assisted vacuum forming, the plug is the storage recess 4 The volume to be inserted into the storage recess 4
If the volume is 40 to 80% of the volume, the polyurethane foam layer 3 is peeled off from the waterproof resin layer 2 in the storage recess 4 of the tray body 1, and a small space 5 can be formed between them. . This is because the ductility of the waterproof resin layer 2 due to vacuuming is higher than that of the polyurethane foam layer 3, and the penetration rate of the plug into the accommodating recess 4 is usually 85 to 100% of the volume of the accommodating recess 4. 40-80%
Due to In the above structure, the waterproof resin layer 2 has a wall thickness of 100 to 3000.
Micron, polyurethane foam layer 3 has a wall thickness of 0.5-5 mm
Is economical. The base material of the waterproof resin layer 2 is a non-foamed resin sheet such as polypropylene, vinyl chloride resin, high-impact polystyrene resin, expanded polystyrene paper with a bulk density of 0.03 to 0.5 g / cm 3 (PS
P), a foamed resin sheet such as cross-linked foamed polyethylene or polypropylene is used, but it is preferable to use a foamed resin sheet from the viewpoint of heat insulation, and as the base material of the polyurethane foam layer 3 having an open cell structure, the physical properties described in the previous section are used. What is used. The elongation of the polyurethane foam layer 3 is 12
When it is less than 0%, it becomes difficult to form a deep storage recess, and the manufactured tray has a shallow storage recess, which makes it difficult to stabilize the stored object. On the contrary, when the expansion rate exceeds 180%,
The polyurethane foam layer is likely to be formed on a tray with a small floating, the cushioning property is small, and the stored objects such as fruits are bottomed and easily scratched. Also, the impact resilience is 25
If it is less than%, the cushioning property of the storage tray during transportation is not sufficient, and if it exceeds 50%, the cushioning property becomes too good and the stored items will jump, requiring rearrangement later. Furthermore, if the compression residual strain exceeds 10%, the cushioning property of the storage tray is poor and the fruits are easily damaged. As the adhesive layer 6, a resin film having a relatively low melting point such as ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer, Surlyn or low density polyethylene is used.

と、その結果は次表の通りである。 The present invention is as described above, and since the surface layer of the tray is formed of polyurethane foam having an open-cell structure, water droplets that are condensed and adhered to the surface of the object to be packaged such as fruits and eggs are surface layer of the tray. It can be completely absorbed by the polyurethane foam layer, and does not cause stains on the stored object stored in the storage recess or rot the stored object. Further, in each of the storage recesses, the polyurethane foam layer is slightly floated above the waterproof resin layer surface to form a space between the two layers, so that the objects to be stored in the storage recesses are protected from impact. Of course, since good cushioning property is given especially to the shoulder part that separates the storage recesses, the worry of being easily scratched at this shoulder part is completely eliminated and the quality of the packaged item is reduced. It can be prevented. in addition,
The surface layer of polyurethane foam improves the texture and can provide a storage tray having a good appearance, and its practical value is extremely great. In addition, the storage tray according to the present invention (elongation rate 150%, apparent density 16g / l, impact resilience 45%, residual compression strain 5
%, Hardness of 8.5 kg, open-celled polyurethane foam (wall thickness 1.5 mm), ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer film (wall thickness 18 μm), PSP (density 0.0

The results are shown in the following table when compared with the case of using / PSP (comparative example).
