されず潤滑膜が途切れることがあり、こうなるとたちま
ち摩耗が発生し著しくシールリップ(2)の寿命を短め
るか悪くするとシール機能そのものを失いかねない危険
性を持っている。

様に羽根形状(4)の該オイルプレート(3)が自ら内
側に溜めたオイル(a)を供給し無潤滑状態でのオイル
シールの運転を防止する働きをなす。
