以上の版材に彫刻して凸版を作り、これで段ボールに印
刷した場合は、印圧が高くなり、印刷インキ付着部分の
進み側に印刷インキが余分に付着してマージナルゾーン
が生じ、また段ボールの中芯がつぶれて段ボールの強度
が低下するという問題があった。特に段ボールに折り目
用の罫線を付した後、この罫線にまたがって印刷する場
合は、罫線の部分が凹んでいるため印刷インキの付着し
ないかすれ部分が発生し、これを防止するために印圧を
大きく設定した場合は、段ボールの中芯がつぶれる結果
になっていた。

るもで、表面に印刷インキが均一に付着し、むらのない
印刷が可能となる。ただし、スキン層1の厚さが0.3mm
未満の場合は、耐刷性が悪くなり、反対に2.0mmを超え
た場合は寸法安定性が低下して反り易く、またソリッド
ゴムの版材と同様に印圧が過大になる。

材を作った。一方、同じ天然ゴムの硬度JIS-A40度のソ
リッドゴムからなる比較例1の印版を作った。これら実
施例および比較例1の版材にそれぞれ彫刻を施し、段ボ
ール用輪転機の版胴に取付け、紙質RK220g/m2×SCP160g
/m2×MC200g/m2、Bフルート、大きさ(箱の内寸)480
×373×151mm、R形式(A型)の段ボールを印圧(印版
表面とドラムの隙間)2.5mm、版胴の回転速度60R/Mで印
刷し、段ボールの厚み変化および段ボール箱の圧縮強さ
(JIS ZO212)を比較した。その結果を下の表に示す。

重さに軽量化され、輸送や版胴への取付けなどの取扱い
が容易になる。
