If the tip cone comes into contact with the insertion stop plate, it cannot be inserted any further, but the male joint portion is further pushed and the insertion is continued. Here, when the joint male portion is pushed in with the movement of the tip cone being restricted, the tip cone has a maximum diameter in the vicinity of the tip portion, and the tip portion of the hollow member into which the tip cone is inserted ( Since the fixed blade can be deformed so as to expand radially outward, the fixed blade expands radially outward. As a result of the expansion of the diameter of the fixed blade, the fixed blade is constrained, the male joint portion engages with the inner side of the opening of the female joint portion, and the two are joined.

Here, the inner diameter of the opening into which the tip cone and the male joint portion are inserted is set larger than the outer diameter of the male joint portion as described above, so that there is a margin at the time of insertion. It is set. Therefore, even if the work of adding the shield segments is rapidly performed, the work of inserting the male joint portion into the female joint portion can be reliably performed. In other words, there is some margin for joining the already installed segment (preceding segment) and the segment to be replenished (subsequent segment), so the fitting male part is well balanced with the opening of the fitting female part. It is fitted.

On the other hand, a female joint portion 24 is attached to the leading segment 10 side. An opening 26 is formed in this joint female portion 24, and the inner diameter of the opening 26, particularly the diameter on the opening inlet side (the upper side in FIG. 1), is the outer diameter of the joint male portion 16 or the maximum diameter of the tip cone (MD Diameter). A misalignment adjusting plate 28 and an insertion stop plate 30 are provided in the opening 26. The misalignment adjusting plate 40 has a structure in which it can move freely within the limited range of the joint female portion 24, and therefore,
Even if there is a misalignment of the ring joint between the preceding segment and the following segment, when the tip cone 22 is inserted, the misalignment adjusting plate 28 and the tip cone 22 automatically become concentric. The misalignment is absorbed and bonded without any trouble.

Previous segment 10 and subsequent segment 12
1 is added, the trailing segment 12 is moved in the direction of arrow D in FIG. 1, and the tip cone 22 and the fixed blade 20 of the male joint portion 16 are inserted into the female joint portion 24 through the opening 26. . This insertion continues until the tip surface 32 of the tip cone 22 abuts the insertion stop plate 30 as shown in FIG.

Here, the fixed blade 20 has some flexibility, and is configured to be deformable or the diameter can be expanded outward in the radial direction (direction indicated by an arrow RO in FIG. 3). For example, as shown in FIG. 3, if the notch portions 34 are formed at a plurality of locations (four locations in FIG. 3) at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the fixed blade 20 (see arrow C in FIG. 3), the radial outward direction is achieved. Flexibility is obtained such that the diameter is slightly increased.

Therefore, as described above, the succeeding segment 12
Is further moved in the direction of arrow D to further insert the joint male portion 16 into the joint female portion 24, the preceding segment 10 and the following segment 12 are joined, and the shoulder portion 36 of the joint male portion 16 is connected to the joint female portion 24. When the fixed blade 20 is inserted until it comes into contact with the surface 38, the fixed blade 20 expands radially outward and comes into contact with the misregistration adjusting plate 28, as shown in FIG. As a result, the joint male portion 16
The joint female portion 24 is connected to the joint female portion 24.

In the state shown in FIG. 4, the joint male portion 16
Since the shoulder portion 36 of the above is in contact with the surface 38 of the female joint portion 24, it does not move further in the direction of arrow D. On the other hand, the radially outer surface (indicated by reference numeral 20S) of the fixed blade 20 is in contact with the misalignment adjusting plate 28 to make a so-called "wedge" -shaped surface contact, so that the joint male portion 16 is moved in the direction of arrow U You can't move to. Therefore, in the state shown in FIG. 4, the male joint portion 16 and the female joint portion 24 are connected.

Here, in order for the fixed blade 20 and the misregistration adjusting plate 28 to abut properly, the inclined surface 40 of the misalignment adjusting plate 28 has a taper equal to the taper surface 42 of the tip cone 22. There is. When the fixed blade 20 expands in diameter, it deforms along the tapered surface 42 of the tip cone 22, so that the radially outer surface 20S of the fixed blade 20 becomes parallel to the tapered surface 42. Therefore, if the inclined surface 40 of the misregistration adjusting plate 28 and the tapered surface 42 of the tip cone 22 are configured to have the same taper, when they come into contact with each other, they are brought into surface contact with each other and a strong connection is achieved. is there.

1. A shield segment joint method for replenishing a shield segment used for lining an excavation hole bored by a shield excavator, comprising a male joint portion provided at a tip end portion of an anchor line of a shield segment to be replenished. The tip cone to the insertion stop plate through the opening in the fitting female part that is attached to the already installed shield segment and has an opening with a diameter larger than the outer diameter of the fitting male part. Inserting until it abuts, pushing the fitting male part further into the fitting female part to deform the fixed blade at the tip of the fitting male part so as to expand radially outward along the tip cone, expanding the fixing blade. A step of connecting the male part and the female part of the joint by restraining the diameter with a misregistration adjusting plate, and the shield segmentation. Joint method.
