A belt having a cut edge structure, which is configured and has a polyester canvas exposed at the end, is generally used. (Hereinafter, referred to as the conventional belt I.) However, in the conveyor belt having the structure like the conventional belt I, when the belt end portion is rubbed by the meandering of the belt during conveyance, the polyester cloth of the tensile body has a "raveling phenomenon". Get out. Further, the back surface is in constant contact with the belt support, so that "raveling" is extremely likely to occur. However, since it is difficult to completely clean the end and back of the belt, foreign matter is likely to adhere to the “fray” and also to be a breeding source of various bacteria. Such foreign substances and germs are extremely disliked in food processing processes and precision equipment transportation processes.

For example, as a polyester elastomer, there is one disclosed in JP-A-48-29896, and JP-A-52-1873 discloses a single-layer conveyor belt using a polyester elastomer. (Hereinafter, referred to as conventional belt II) Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 51-37966 discloses a power transmission belt including a plurality of polyester elastomer layers having different physical properties and a method for producing the power transmission belt. However, JP-A-51-37966 is an inexpensive power transmission belt and an invention for efficiently manufacturing the belt, which is different from the present invention in industrial application fields and problems. In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 51-37966, there is no description that specifically limits the physical properties of the conveyor belt, and in the description of the examples, a material having a small elongation is obtained based on the tensile stress-strain graph of the elastomer of FIG. The material (shown by the X curve) is used as the compression section 23, the material having a large elongation rate (the one shown by the Z curve) is used as the tension section 21, and the material having the elongation rate between X and Z ( The one indicated by curve Y) is only stated to be preferred for use as load bearing 22.

One or more tension layers made of plastic with an elastic modulus of 5306 to 30612 kg / cm 2 ) and 80 to 100 N / mm 2 (81
Disclosed is a high speed drive belt having one or more friction layers made of plastic having an elastic modulus of 6 to 1020 kg / cm < 2 >), in which the friction layer and the tension layer are integrally connected. The tension layer and friction layer described in JP-A-57-179453 relating to conventional belt IV (hereinafter referred to as conventional belt IV) are considered to correspond to the center layer and the front and back layers of the present invention, respectively. The characteristic values of the elastic modulus of the tension layer and the friction layer of the belt IV are included in the range of the tensile elastic modulus required for the center layer and the front and back layers of the present invention, but the conventional belt IV is suitable for power transmission. Another object of the present invention is to provide a belt that can travel smoothly during high-speed rotation, which differs from the present invention relating to the improvement of a conveyor belt for light transportation in industrial fields and problems. Therefore, the conventional belt IV does not have the idea of keeping the tensile elastic modulus within an appropriate range of the entire conveyor belt structure as in the present invention.

Therefore, the conveyor belt used for this must satisfy the contradictory conditions of being small in elongation and being flexible so that it can be used in a small diameter pulley.

If a polyester elastomer of m 2 or more is used, the belt elongation will be 1% or less, but since the bending elastic modulus increases almost in proportion to the tensile elastic modulus and becomes more rigid, a pulley with a large diameter should be used. I have no choice but to use it. On the contrary, use the pulley diameter
If it is limited to 30 mm or less, a flexible belt with a bending elastic modulus of 3000 kg / cm 2 or less is required, and in this case, the belt elongation is 3%.
That's all.

When a tension (F) of 3 kg / cm was applied to, the flexibility was evaluated by determining the pulley diameter D when the distance H between the upper and lower conveyor belts 4 was H = 1.1D. To describe the meaning of the pulley diameter D, when the pulley diameter and the pulley diameter D larger pulley diameter D L, H <1.1D L, and the conveyor belt is likely familiar with the pulley. If the pulley diameter is a pulley diameter D S smaller than the pulley diameter D, then H
> 1.1D S, and the conveyor belt is less likely familiar to the pulley. Therefore, the smaller the pulley diameter D, the more flexible the belt.

上になった。 In the comparison between Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Example, Examples 1 to 3
All of the conveyor belts (No. 1 to 10) according to (1) had a belt elongation of 1% or less and a pulley diameter D of 30 mm or less.
However, since the comparative example is a belt having a single-layer structure, when the elongation of the belt is suppressed to 1% or less, the rigidity of the belt becomes high, and a pulley diameter D of 50 mm or more is required, and conversely 20 mm.
The elongation of the belt, which fits the following small diameter pulleys, was 3% or more.
