However, in such a serpentine type heat exchanger, since the heat exchange medium passage is formed by one flat extruded tube, a large passage area cannot be secured, and the extruded tube is bent in a meandering shape. Since the radius of curvature of the bent portion cannot be reduced by more than a certain value, the tube pitch cannot be reduced, which reduces the number of fins interposed between the parallel portions of the tube, resulting in poor fin efficiency. There was a limit to the improvement.

Therefore, as a heat exchanger to replace the serpentine type, a heat exchanger in which both ends of a large number of flat tubes arranged in parallel are connected to a pair of hollow headers and fins are interposed between adjacent tubes is proposed. Has been done. According to this heat exchanger, since the tube pitch can be freely selected, a large refrigerant passage cross-sectional area can be secured, and the number of fins interposed between the tubes can be increased, resulting in a small size and excellent heat exchange efficiency. You can do it.

By the way, in this type of heat exchanger, in order to circulate the heat exchange medium in a meandering manner like the serpentine type, one or both of the headers are divided into a plurality of compartments by a partition plate, and thus, by a tube. In some cases, the constituted heat exchange medium passage is formed as a meandering passage.

As such a partition plate mounting structure, the header is composed of multiple short tubular header units, these header units are combined in the length direction with a partition plate in the middle, and brazed and fixed. Has been adopted. However, in such a structure, there is a risk that the number of parts will increase and the cost will increase, or that the header unit and the partition plate will be misaligned during brazing, so that the brazing work is troublesome and the productivity is poor. It had such drawbacks.

In order to solve such a problem, the applicant of the present application, as shown in FIG.
While forming a notch portion (52) in the circumferential direction over 1) in 1), as a partition plate (53), a small diameter portion (54) having an outer peripheral shape that fits the inner peripheral surface of the header (51) and a peripheral end. The part (55) having a large diameter part (56) adapted to the cut part is used, and the partition plate (53) is cut from the small diameter part (54) side to the cut part (5).
By inserting into the header (51) via 2),
The outer peripheral surface of the small diameter portion (54) is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the header (51), and the peripheral end portion (55) of the large diameter portion (56) is cut into the cut portion (5
2) Place it in the fitted state and partition plate (53)
A heat exchanger in which the header and the header (51) are integrated by brazing is proposed (see Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 63-49193). This is advantageous because it is possible to reduce the number of parts, simplify the assembly and joining work, improve the productivity, and reduce the cost. In addition, (62) is a tube and (63) is a corrugated fin.

However, in this heat exchanger, the relationship between the gap length between the upper and lower surfaces (52a) (52b) of the notch (52) formed in the header (51) and the thickness of the partition plate (53) may be slightly different in terms of processing. There may be an error, so the notch (52)
If the gap length of is slightly larger than the set dimension, the partition plate (53) is inserted into the header (51) through the notch (52), and the partition plate (53) is inserted.
The movement in the pull-out direction of the was not strictly regulated, and the partition plate (53) might unintentionally shift its position or fall out of the header (51) before brazing.

Therefore, the applicant, as a heat exchanger to solve this problem, as shown in the figure in the subsequent application,
A small protrusion (57) is provided on one surface of the partition plate (53), and when the partition plate (53) is fitted in the header (51), the small protrusion (57) is attached to the upper surface (52a) of the cut portion (52). It is assumed that it is positioned adjacent to the inner edge surface (52c) adjacent to,
As a result, when the partition plate (53) tries to move in the pulling-out direction, the small projection (57) engages with the inner edge surface (52c), and the pulling-out is prevented. We proposed an exchanger (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 64-31368).

That is, in the process of fitting the partition plate (53) into the header (51) through the cutout portion (52), the small protrusions (57) form the cutout portion (5).
The upper surface (52a) of 2) may be hit strongly, which may form a deep groove in the upper surface (52a). Therefore, when the partition plate (53) tries to move in the pull-out direction, the small protrusion (57 ) Moves in the groove without engaging with the inner edge surface (52c) of the notch (52), which may cause the partition plate (53) to be displaced or fall out.
However, the fixed state is not always stable.

The partition plate fixing structure shown in Fig. 11 is
As shown in FIG. 3, a recess (30) of a predetermined length along the circumferential direction is formed on the inner surface of the header (3) facing the cut (15) through the inside of the header (3), while the partition plate is formed. The partition plate (11) is used as (11) by integrally forming a bulged portion (31) adapted to the recess (30) at the peripheral end of the small diameter portion (11a). It is inserted into the header (3) through the notch (15), and the bulge (31) is fitted into the recess (30) as shown in FIG. The partition plate (11) is fixed by striking the outer surface of the upper edge portion and the outer surface of the lower edge portion of 15) to form plastically deformed portions (20) (20). In this modification, not only is the partition plate (11) fixedly secured, but a gap is created between the small diameter portion (11a) and the inner surface of the header (3) due to dimensional errors and the like. It becomes possible to effectively avoid such a defect.

The partition plate fixing structure shown in Fig. 12 is
As shown in FIG. 3, the notch (15) is formed over substantially the half circumference of the header (3), and a circumferential recess (33) is formed over the half circumference on the inner surface of the header (3) so as to be continuous therewith. Also, as the partition plate (11), a disk having the same diameter as the outer diameter of the header (3) is used.
Through the notch (15) into the header (3),
The partition plate (11) is fixed by fitting it into the recess (33) and forming the plastically deformed portions (20) (20) as shown in FIG.

Effect of the Invention According to the above, in the multi-flow type heat exchanger of the present invention, a large number of flat tubes arranged in parallel are connected at their both ends to a pair of hollow headers and are adjacent to each other. A heat exchanger in which fins are interposed between the tubes, and at least one of the headers is partitioned by a partition plate so that the heat exchange medium flows in a meandering manner in a flow passage formed by the tube group. Is inserted and arranged in the header through a slit-shaped notch provided in the circumferential direction of the header, and fixed by a plastically deformable portion formed by striking the outer surface of the side edge of the notch, and It is integrated with the header. Therefore, the header can be manufactured integrally, and the number of parts can be reduced as compared with the conventional case where a short header unit is joined in the middle with a partition plate interposed. Since the partition plate is fixed by the plastically deformed portion formed inside the header in the fitted arrangement state, it is sure that the partition plate will be displaced or slipped out in that state. Therefore, the heat exchanger components can be properly maintained in the temporarily assembled state. Moreover, the plastically deformable portion can be easily formed by fitting the partition plate in the cut portion and then tapping the side edge portion of the cut portion from the outer surface, so that the temporary fixing of the partition plate to the header is extremely difficult. It can be done easily.
