It is made by covering it with an insulator such as rubber,
Examples of the tension members include those using glass fibers (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 54-106884), those using aramid fibers (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-169708), and those obtained by blending the above two (actually developed). Sho 61-14424) is used.

を必要とする欠点があった。(Problems to be solved by the invention) In the first place, the tension member is intended to be held during use or manufacturing so as not to be broken due to high tension such as bending, but on the other hand, the electrostatic characteristic which is a typical characteristic of the ignition cord is In consideration of capacity and breakdown voltage, the thinner the tension member is, the more ideal. However, the strength of glass fiber is low and therefore it cannot be made too thin, and aramid fiber has excellent tensile strength, but internal fiber-to-fiber wear (wear between aramid fibers) caused by repeated bending, vibration, etc.
Has a relatively weak side. Further, since the strength is lowered due to moisture absorption, there is a drawback that a pre-process such as drying and hydrophobization treatment is required before production and use.

Is made of polyarylate, and the extrusion coating layer 2 is formed thereon as an insulating layer to form a core layer. A rubber composition in which ferrite powder or the like is mixed is used for the insulating layer. A metal resistance wire 3, for example, a nichrome wire is wound around the outer periphery of the core layer with a certain pitch so as not to contact each other, and an insulating layer 4, a braid layer 5, and a sheath layer 6 are formed on the metal resistance wire 3. The insulation cord 7 is covered, and the ignition cord 8 is completed as a winding type noise-preventing high-voltage resistance electric wire.

As can be seen, it is only 15%, and a significant improvement in environmental resistance can be seen when compared to the 55% performance degradation of conventional polyaramids under the same conditions.

In terms of manufacturing equipment, conventional equipment can be used as is,
The tensile strength required at the time of manufacture is also equivalent to that of polyaramid fiber, so there is no resistance to switching to a new product.

As in the second embodiment (FIG. 3), a plurality of polyarylate fiber bundles twisted into one may be twisted together to form one tension member 1A. The material for the tension member is polyarylate fiber as in the first embodiment, and the effect can be expected to be exactly the same as in the first embodiment.

Also has the same characteristics as those using conventional aramid fibers, and does not require a tension member drying step during manufacturing,
Moreover, it is possible to provide an ignition cord excellent in strength retention without particularly changing the conventional manufacturing equipment.
