Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 1.高分子粉体の摩擦帯電特性を改良するに当たって、前記高分子粉体を主領域 及びアフターグロー領域を有するガスプラズマのアフターグロー領域に配置し、 その領域で、前記ガスプラズマを、酸素、窒素及び酸素又は窒素を含有するガス からなる群から選ばれたガスの低圧ガス流に含ませ、これにより、場合によって 、低濃度の酸素又は窒素を前記粉体の表面に混入してもよい工程を特徴とする、 高分子粉体の摩擦帯電特性を改良する方法。
- 2.前記高分子粉体が任意の共役重合体のものである、請求の範囲第1項に記載 の方法。
- 3.前記高分子粉体が、芳香族成分を保有する任意の重合体のものである、請求 の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 4.前記ガスが窒素であり、そして前記高分子が、ポリスチレン及びポリスチレ ンの共重合体からなる群から選ばれる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 5.高分子粉体の摩擦帯電特性を改良するに当たって、前記高分子粉体を主領域 及びアフターグロー領域を有するガスプラズマのアフターグロー領域に配置し、 その領域で、前記ガスプラズマを、酸素、窒素及び酸素又は窒素を含有するガス からなる群から選ばれたガスの低圧ガス流に含ませ、そして、金属箔としてのイ ンジウムを前記ガスプラズマに隣れる前記ガス流中に浮遊させてインジウム蒸気 を発生せしめ、これにより、低濃度のインジウムを前記粉体の表面に混入する工 程を特徴とする、高分子粉体の摩擦帯電特性を改良する方法。
- 6.請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法によって処理された高分子粉体。
- 7.請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法によって処理された高分子粉体。
- 8.請求の範囲第3項に記載の方法によって処理された高分子粉体。
- 9.請求の範囲第4項に記載の方法によって処理された高分子粉体。
- 10.請求の範囲第5項に記載の方法によって処理された高分子粉体。
- 11.高分子粉体であって、その表面構造中に窒素又はインジウムが混入されて おり、それによって、トナー比電荷Q/Mが増加及び安定化せしめられている、 高分子粉体。
- 12.前記高分子が、任意の共役重合体であるかもしくは芳香族成分を保有する 重合体である、請求の範囲第11項に記載の高分子粉体。
- 13.前記高分子がポリスチレンであるかもしくはポリスチレンの共重合体であ る、請求の範囲第11項に記載の高分子粉体。
