Next, the detailed configuration of the valves A to D will be described with reference to FIG. Each of these valves A to D is composed of a butterfly valve. In FIG. 2, reference numeral 21 is a disk-shaped valve body, which rotates about a shaft 22. The valve body 21 is rotated by an actuator 23 composed of an air cylinder or a hydraulic cylinder. When the valve body 21 is rotated to the broken line position, the valve is closed, and when it is rotated to the solid line position. The valve is open.

Next, the operation of the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above will be described. Exhaust gas discharged from the engine is sent to the catalyst 11, purified and discharged. If such a purification process is continued, clogging occurs in the catalyst 11. Therefore, a difference occurs between the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 141 and the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 142. this is,
This is because when the catalyst 11 is clogged, the exhaust gas sucked from the suction side of the catalyst 11 is accumulated and the pressure of the suction side of the catalyst 11 is increased. Here, ΔP = pressure on the suction side (pressure detected by the pressure sensor 141) −pressure on the discharge side (pressure detected by the pressure sensor 142), and this ΔP
When is greater than the set value N, it is determined that the catalyst 11 is clogged. In other words, the controller 14
The process of the flowchart shown in the figure is performed. First, “Δ
It is determined whether or not P> N ”(step S1). That is, it is determined whether or not the catalyst 11 is clogged. Here, if “NO”, that is, if it is determined that the clogging has not occurred, the valves A and B are opened and the valve C is opened.
The closed state of D and D is maintained (step S2). That is, the valves A to D are located at the positions shown by the solid line in FIG. Exhaust gas discharged from the engine is sent to the catalyst 11, purified and discharged. As such purification processing progresses, clogging occurs in the catalyst 11 and “ΔP>
When it becomes N, it is determined to be "YES" in step S1. Then, the valves A and B are closed at the positions indicated by the broken lines, the valves A, B and D are closed, and the valve C is opened. Then, the high-pressure air is backflowed from the discharge side of the catalyst 11 and the particulates in the catalyst 11 are moved to the trap 12 with the regenerator. Here, the exhaust gas discharged from the engine is directly opened to the atmosphere through the pipe 13. In this way, as the particulates in the catalyst 11 are sent to the trap 12 with the regenerator, the catalyst
11 clogging is getting less. The valve state in step S3 is continued as long as “ΔP> I” (where I is set to the value of ΔP in the state where no clogging occurs).

By the way, if “ΔP <I” is satisfied (“YE

Five). If the regeneration in the trap with regenerator 12 is not completed (NO in the determination in step S6), the valve D is opened and air is sent into the trap with regenerator 12 to cause the above-mentioned patty. The curate is burned (step S7). in this way,
Since air is supplied to the particulates to reburn them, the particulates can be efficiently burned. The valve D is open until the regeneration is completed, and when the regeneration is completed, it is determined that "YES" is determined in the above step S6 and the valve D is closed (step S8). After that, proceed to the above step S1 and "NO" in the above step S1.
Then, the valves A and B are opened, the valves A and B are opened, and the valves C and D are closed (step S2). In this way, the exhaust gas discharged from the engine is sent to the catalyst 11 again to be purified and discharged.

[Effects of the Invention] As described in detail above, according to the present invention, when a trap is clogged, high-pressure air is supplied to the trap and the particulates trapped in the trap are sent to another trap to supply the air. Since the fuel is supplied and reburned, when the trap is clogged, the clogging can be eliminated at any time to provide an exhaust gas purification device that can perform efficient purification.
