する。まず図3に示すように、ウレタンフォーム等の熱
可塑性で多孔性の芯材1及びドライクリーニングに耐え
得る薄い熱可塑性接着シート2を挟んで布製の表地4と
裏地3を重ね合せる。尚、裏地3は不織布でもよい。次
に図4に示すように、その積層体の上に高周波ウェルダ
の電極9を当てて、中央部及びその周囲所要個所を溶着
し、且つ、同時に電極9に設けた刃10によって中央溶
着部11の中心位置に細長の穴8を穿設すると共に周囲
溶着部12の外端に沿って溶断することにより花弁形状
(図1参照)の飾り体5を形成する。尚、飾り体5の形
状は、ヒマワリ、クローバー等種々の花の形を模すこと
が可能であり、花弁の数も自由である。また、溶着は超
音波ウェルダや、その他の溶着機によっても行うことが
可能である。次に図5に示すように、飾り体5の表面中
央溶着部11にボタン本体6の背面を重ね合せると共に
ボタン本体6の背面に突設した脚部7を穴8に貫通させ
て飾り体5の背面側に突出させる。尚、ボタン本体6の
背面は接着剤等を用いて飾り体5に接着してもよい。
又、ボタン本体6の構造も自由であり、例えば、くるみ
ボタンのように布等で被覆したものであっても構わな
い。以上の工程によって図1及び図2に示すようなフラ
