In the conventional pavement thickness control device having a mechanical sensor, the arm protrudes from the sensor, so that another object may come into contact with the arm and catch the sensor. . On the other hand, the pavement thickness control device provided with the ultrasonic type sensor solves such a problem, but the detection height becomes unclear when there is a step on the reference plane. Therefore, even when the sensor deviates from the reference plane, the deviation from the reference plane is not noticed for a while, and the pavement thickness may be disturbed.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been proposed in order to achieve the above object, and provides an asphalt finisher in which a pavement thickness is controlled while detecting a reference line or a reference plane by a sensor device. A plurality of ultrasonic sensor units are arranged in a row to form a sensor device, and a control unit for comparing a preset pavement thickness set value with each measured value of the ultrasonic sensor unit is provided, and the pavement thickness setting is set. A certain measurement range is set around the value, and only the actual measurement value within the measurement range is selected from the actual measurement values of the ultrasonic sensor units, and the height of the reference line or the reference plane is selected from the selected actual measurement value. And a pavement thickness control device in which nozzles are attached to the ultrasonic sensor units.

The measured values of the plurality of ultrasonic sensor units arranged in a line are compared with the pavement thickness set value stored in advance. The control unit defines a fixed measurement range centered on the pavement thickness setting value, and selects only the actual measurement value within the measurement range from the actual measurement values of the ultrasonic sensor units. And
The height of the reference line or the reference surface is calculated based on the selected actual measurement value, and the pavement thickness is controlled.

Based on the above calculation result, a control command is output from the control unit 21 to the electromagnetic switching valve 22 to extend or contract the leveling cylinder 15. Therefore, the leveling arm 14 shown in FIG. 1 moves up and down, the inclination angle of the screed 13 changes, and the pavement thickness is controlled. FIG. 3 shows a state in which the water thread 19 is measured by the sensor device 17, and the ultrasonic waves emitted from the ultrasonic sensor units 18a to 18e are
Since the water thread 19 is diffused in proportion to the distance, the water thread 19 is measured by a plurality of ultrasonic sensor units. As illustrated, when the water thread 19 is stretched just below the ultrasonic sensor unit 18c, the three ultrasonic sensor units 18 are
The water thread 19 is measured by b, 18c, and 18d.

FIG. 4A shows the measured values of the ultrasonic sensor units 18a to 18e. Since the water thread 19 exists immediately below the ultrasonic sensor unit 18c, the ultrasonic sensor unit 18c is The measured value C 1 is the highest value. The adjacent ultrasonic sensor units 18b and 18d also measure the water thread 19, but since the water thread 19 exists at the end of the measurement region, the measured values B 1 and D 1 are slightly low values. In addition, the ultrasonic sensor units 18a at the left and right ends
In and 18e, the measured values A 1 and E 1 are extremely low values because the water thread 19 does not exist in each measurement region.

Therefore, only the measured value C 1 is selected and calculated by the control unit 21, and as shown by C 1 in FIG. 4B,
The horizontal position and height of the water thread 19 are required. Let the height of the water thread 19 calculated in this way be the height of the reference line,

Here, when the step portion 24 exists on the reference surface 23 as shown in FIG. 5, the measured values of the ultrasonic sensor units 18a to 18e are as shown in FIG. 6 (a). Since there is the step portion 24 directly below the ultrasonic sensor units 18a and 18b, the other ultrasonic sensor units 18c
The measured values A 2 and B 2 of the ultrasonic sensor units 18a and 18b are higher than those of the ultrasonic sensor units 18a to 18e, and are greatly deviated from the measurement range W. In addition, the ultrasonic sensor unit 18
Since the stepped portion 24 exists at the end of the measurement region of c, the measured value C 2 becomes a considerably high value and deviates from the measurement range W.

As described in detail in the above embodiment, the present invention arranges a plurality of ultrasonic sensor units in a line to measure a reference line or a reference plane, and sets a preset pavement thickness set value and each measured value. The height of the reference line or the reference plane is calculated by comparing with the value. Therefore, the height of the reference line or the reference surface can be detected extremely accurately, and highly accurate pavement thickness control can be performed.

Further, when the nozzles are attached to the respective ultrasonic sensor units, the overlapping of the measurement areas between the adjacent ultrasonic sensor units is reduced, and even if there is a step on the reference plane, the step is clearly shown. Can be determined. Therefore, when the sensor device deviates from the reference line or the reference surface, it is immediately detected and the pavement thickness is prevented from being disturbed, which contributes to the improvement of work controllability, thus providing various kinds of effects. It is an invention.
